Like any item in D4, RNG with the applicable % Drop Rate determines your success. There's no "magic system" that ensures you'll get a Mythic Unique (Or any drop for that matter). That's ridiculous. I've had 50 runs where I've gotten 3 and 50 runs where I've got Zero. Your only chance is to play a lot - that's it.

As for mythics, the devs could simply implements a counter for each tormented boss you defeat solo, so that you are guaranteed a mythic drop for each, as an example, 20th solo win. The counter then resets when a mythic drops. It's completely stupid that some players have +50 tormented boss wins and yet zero mythic drops.
I think this is a great idea. Decrease the normal drop rate and have that still but also have a guaranteed drop ever 20 runs or whatever. Or maybe have it weighed so group runs count less depending on how many people are in the group or something. There is definitely a way to even out the drop chance to stop people just not finding any. Last season I found them very easily (I once got 2 in one run) but this season I’ve not got 1
@@JerBuster77it is. just by finishing the season reputation you get enough mats from the caches to do like 15 tormented bosses. chances are realistic that you get a mythic from that otherwise they are absolutely not needed for most builds and to beat all the content.
You don't have to solo everything. You CHOOSE to. Ask in trade chat if anyone wants to go, and we will respond. . Trade chat is how many of us group, but lots of people use discord groups.

I've been playing since launch, almost every day, and I still have yet to see a single uber/mythic unique drop from anything. Including having farmed Duriel hundreds of times, and even having Tormented Duriel on farm last season. I'm fairly certain at this point that Blizzard deliberately jacks up some hidden luck stat on the accounts of popular streamers, because the results they get are never the results I get.
@@keiichi8191 Exactly. It feels like this sometimes. Its also not as easy for us compared to them to have a full group of people to constantly rotate huge boss mats between a 4 man so they can literally do every boss 20+ times within the first week.
Sad that even blizzards math is wrong. If each drop from an uber boss is 1.5% chance to be an uber and they drop 5 items, that's actually only a 7.3% chance for a mythic per boss. Even after 15 uber boss kills you'll only have roughly a 67.8% chance to get a mythic.
For some reason every season so far when I start Uber unique farming on my sorc the first drops I usually get are spear of lycander or heart of selig. Not complaining since they become a spark for me but rng is strange. Meanwhile players will get a shako from a tier 50 nightmare dungeon or ring of starless skies from a helltide Lol.
I've been playing a ton this season with some friends, and my Rogue friend has gotten 5 or 6 mythic drops, and I have gotten zero, same boss kills, dozens of tormented boss kills. It feels really bad for him to be decked out, and me to not be at this point.

I could solo all the tormented bosses and pretty easily, usually between 10-30 seconds. Now i went to eternal and even with all that gear, in new season can't even do it with a 2 party group.
I will believe it when I see it. The RNG is funky, just look at tempering. There are videos of people getting the same tempers 5 times in a row 😢 how!? This however explains why i seen in comments, 1 guy got 1 uber per 20 duriel kills, but the others got 200, 300, 350 duriel kills and got nothing. When RNG shits on you, you no longer playing the game, you are the one thats getting played.

Well ... I can't be sure, but I don't think Blizzard will nerf anything this season. It will only last 2 months and an expansion is coming.They'll make adjustments after this season for sure. The main reason I don't believe they'll change anything is due to them being "back" with positive feedback from the players.
Unfortunately no one can just tell you a time. Defeating them requires things like maxed resistances, armor cap, ridiculous HP, and a significant investment in build strength time wise. Everyone can get there, but few will really do so in the grand scheme of things. . Unfortunately you MUST play some meta build. The game is balanced so much to defeat most builds that anyone just playing "what they want to" is going to be disappointed season after season. . You MUST build to garner every ounce of strength possible from a class. Nothing else is possible.
I have a question for the author, if you would please chime in. Season 5 has been open a few days, but more and more and more as I inspect people in Kyovashad, they not only have on the Shako, but even multiple mythics. This is insane. Yesterday there was a Barbarian, had a Shako, Tyraels Might, The Grandfather and the Ring of Starless Skies. I keep seeing people say "its all rng" they just got lucky", "its all luck even to get 1" etc etc. These "lucky" people should play the lottery then. In S4 my wife and I made multiple toons to complete the season journey for the "sparks" to trade for the Shako at the alchemist. We then did 12/12 masterwork. We LOVED it. Now S5 is even better mythics. We just leveled 100 yesterday and for obvious reasons cannot even scratch a tormented boss yet. In S4 however we killed them all. We play a bone spirit necro and pulverize druid. So the question/clarification is, just get "lucky" doing uber bosses, helltides and infernals, OR...strictly farm Tormented Bosses? So, gear up and kill tomented bosses to have a better chance for Mythics? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks for you channel!
I got back to back ubers from Andariel today after only playing for 20 mins after getting home from work. At least for me Andariel seems to be giving me the most drops.
This season my very first kill of Torment Varshan just to get the first spark dropped Andariels and Shako.Felt like I used all my luck up immediately lol. I leveled several alts to 100 as well since it is fast now and crafted a couple more like my Tyreal's and Starless Skies. I have had one or two more drop (a couple extra shako's and a heart of selig over the last 50 or 60 kills). I play mostly solo. I did a few rota's early on, but with all the loot on the ground now I just find the time between kills annoying. You are either leaving a lot of crap lying around or waiting every kill for slow town runners. When I solo, I can kill the boss, pick up everything, port to town and vendor all the crap that is trash and get back for the next kill way faster than most random's you will rota with. Now I just jump between several alts and when I have mats and stygians lying around I pick a boss that something else for the character could drop that would be useful and go farm that (like Beast for Fists of Fate, Zir on Sorc for Winterglass etc).
Ice done about 3x more uber duriel then then beast and have got 3 from duriel and and 5 from Beast. So what your saying seems pretty accurate to what I'm getting to

I didn’t know about these bosses until last week. Idk how but I never cared much about farming. Once I realize and checked my stash I Had enough resources to summon them multiple times. Some over 80 times and no unique. I’m a level 268 on torment 3. I’ve gotten 1 unique in the time this game came out and that was yesterday after finally killing Uber Lilith and getting a shard. The drop rates are shit. I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time playing. Been building up an overkill barb and he was nerfed to shit.
You might be right I was farming for the unique dagger off non echo beast in ice at around 75 and andrials visage dropped on my rouge. I hope they don’t patch before I can get every thing leveled on build to farm torment version.

I decided to start WW barb and I am now stuck. I did tier 3 (140) infernal hordes until I got all of my gear upgrade to level 2 crit. I still can't do tier 4 (160) IH. My single target just can't take down the harder stuff faster enough and then I die. I guess I'll just start another class/build in hopes it doesn't get stuck :(
Last season I got repeated Uber uniques from Grigoire. I would get an Uber every other 3 times or so! It kept happened cleverly day that I played him too & friends were witness to this! For me, it only seemed to happen with my barb (who was ridiculously OP) so I thought it was because we were clearing that boss fastest out of all others. That was my tinfoil hat theory anyway 😂
I will say from my experience Duriel and Andariel still drop more imo. 6 from duriel in like 30ish runs 1 from andariel in ten or so runs 0 from Beast in 20ish runs 0 from Zir 15ish runs 0 from Varshan 30ish runs

I got 1 from regular Duriel yesterday. Ran it 3 times before I got it. Then ran all Uber bosses except beast in ice and got the same doombringer. The rng is fake. Rng based on account. Another friend I ran with today got two shako's today in our runs. He might of gotten more but didn't realize it. His wife said what's that purple one there and only way he noticed.
Season 3, I got 3 mythic uniques in about 15 regular duriel runs, this season 0 of 50 lol I tried a tormented zir Summon and I couldn't even damage him, but I was only level 92.
real dog act that they made uber uniques consistently craftable last season, knowing that people would craft them, only for blizzard to update the uber uniques so that they instantly outclass their older versions, with no way of trading them in. they tricked us into grinding and crafting our ubers, just for that effort to be shit on when they made the changes to uber uniques non-retroactive.
I couldn't even touch Lillith last season. Do we always need a team of 4 to kill the end game bosses ? I tried with 2 others last season and we got absolutely wrecked
I don't even have a level 65 yet. My day is work, gym, spend time with my wife, dinner and sleep. If i find 30 minutes to an hour anywhere in that time frame other then my days off I'm lucky. I haven't been off since the season started.

Played every season, and have a character from each of those at L100, and still ZERO Uber/mythic. Not complaining, just reality. Ubers aren't a casual thing lol
World tier 2 Helltide level 1-35. capstone dungeon to unlock WT3. Helltide more until 55, capstone dungeon to unlock WT4. Then nightmare dungeons and infernal hordes until 100. It’s important to know that WT3 drops sacred items which require level 35 to equip and it’s a huge power spike. Same thing at WT4 drops ancestral gear which require level 55. Always get temper your gear before doing the capstone dungeon!

I honestly don't see the point of uniques in Diablo 4. I didn't get a single one last season, so the game forces you to play as a team. By the time you try to get one, you've already done all the season objectives.

The best barb builds in S4 could kill all of them in seconds solo. Playing sorc atm and it's not there yet.

Full time worker and a father over here. If you know how to level it's not that bad honestly. I started taking down tormented bosses this morning.

25 Tier 7 and 5 Tier 8 spent everything on the materials chest and 0 Stygian stones. The RNG is still awful with them.

Did 12 runs with a group today. I got 4 mythics, and 2 of my party members got none.
I haven’t gotten any stygion stones from tier 7 and I’ve done around a dozen runs but I got 5 from doing a tier 6!

When you can actually "farm" t7 hordes you don't need any mythics anymore because your build is already crazy... (at least solo)
I decided to start WW barb and I am now stuck. I did tier 3 (140) infernal hordes until I got all of my gear upgrade to level 2 crit. I still can't do tier 4 (160) IH. My single target just can't take down the harder stuff faster enough and then I die. I guess I'll just start another class/build in hopes it doesn't get stuck :(
Last season I got repeated Uber uniques from Grigoire. I would get an Uber every other 3 times or so! It kept happened cleverly day that I played him too & friends were witness to this! For me, it only seemed to happen with my barb (who was ridiculously OP) so I thought it was because we were clearing that boss fastest out of all others. That was my tinfoil hat theory anyway 😂
I will say from my experience Duriel and Andariel still drop more imo.
6 from duriel in like 30ish runs
1 from andariel in ten or so runs
0 from Beast in 20ish runs
0 from Zir 15ish runs
0 from Varshan 30ish runs
just letting u know if u keep on killing uber lilith you will be able to get resplendid sparks try to solo her everytime and get mythics that way as a new youtube video it be cool
I got 1 from regular Duriel yesterday. Ran it 3 times before I got it. Then ran all Uber bosses except beast in ice and got the same doombringer. The rng is fake. Rng based on account. Another friend I ran with today got two shako's today in our runs. He might of gotten more but didn't realize it. His wife said what's that purple one there and only way he noticed.
What’s the drop rate for normal versions of these bosses, not tormented? I grinded out normal duriel 75 times and got three Uber drops

Ive done easily over 200 tomented bosses and beast in ice dropped most mythics for me too :O
Season 3, I got 3 mythic uniques in about 15 regular duriel runs, this season 0 of 50 lol I tried a tormented zir Summon and I couldn't even damage him, but I was only level 92.
Imagine finishing the game already like this..
Blizzard devs have proven time and again that they can't math. Beast in Ice prob does have a higher drop rate.

real dog act that they made uber uniques consistently craftable last season, knowing that people would craft them, only for blizzard to update the uber uniques so that they instantly outclass their older versions, with no way of trading them in. they tricked us into grinding and crafting our ubers, just for that effort to be shit on when they made the changes to uber uniques non-retroactive.

Do the normal versions of the bosses have a chance to drop a Mythic? Since I'm killing normals easy but my dmg isn't nearly enough for tormented.
So Tormented Varshan and Zir can drop purple uniques?

I think the beast in ice theory may be right. I was farming just the regular beast in ice and got a harlequin to drop

I farmed them yesterday started with 20 stones. Killed 20 uber bosses. No one uber unique piece of gear.
I couldn't even touch Lillith last season. Do we always need a team of 4 to kill the end game bosses ? I tried with 2 others last season and we got absolutely wrecked
I got a Tyrael's Might with GA Resist's from non-tormented Andariel. 3 kills, ha
I don't even have a level 65 yet. My day is work, gym, spend time with my wife, dinner and sleep. If i find 30 minutes to an hour anywhere in that time frame other then my days off I'm lucky. I haven't been off since the season started.

Played every season, and have a character from each of those at L100, and still ZERO Uber/mythic. Not complaining, just reality. Ubers aren't a casual thing lol

What’s the best way to lvl up?
World tier 2 Helltide level 1-35. capstone dungeon to unlock WT3. Helltide more until 55, capstone dungeon to unlock WT4. Then nightmare dungeons and infernal hordes until 100. It’s important to know that WT3 drops sacred items which require level 35 to equip and it’s a huge power spike. Same thing at WT4 drops ancestral gear which require level 55. Always get temper your gear before doing the capstone dungeon!
Just need ariendel helmet and i can get a a pretty good upgrade with a small respec wish me luck, lol

Man i got my first mythic from a NMD like at level 85 i got a selig a have gotten 4 mythics so far i play with a friend he got 100 firts and run more tormented than me and 0 mythics for him, feels bad man

I honestly don't see the point of uniques in Diablo 4. I didn't get a single one last season, so the game forces you to play as a team. By the time you try to get one, you've already done all the season objectives.
