I think Tommy Paul will pass Taylor next. I think Taylor needs to level up one weapon that he can use to overpower his opponents. He's just an every man right now, and that's not gonna get it.
@@ivanhall6482 Fritz has a much better serve & bigger groundstrokes that he used to easily overpower Paul in Delray & that was before Paul's Sunshine Double ankle injury. Shelton & Fritz have the weaponry to take the racket out of lesser player's hands. Paul's been trying forever to reach the Top 10, but 11-14 seems extra tough to crack these days with so many established Top 10 players on the cusp / in the mix between #9-13. The top two US will be a battle between Shelton & Fritz as we all knew it inevitably would be. Paul's ankle injury is unfortunate given he & Tiafoe are the better movers on clay & that part of the season has started in earnest.
