      I have it and it's an awesome cookbook but the drinks require some special ingredients that need to be ordered. Like Walmart doesn't carry Cotton Candy Monin Syrup lol. The only drink I was really able to make was the Blurggfire which even that one was hard to find because I needed a chili lime mix. According to the Star Wars wiki the Blurggfire is canonically up to interpretation so you don't have to make it exactly like the recipe but it was the easiest of the drinks to make but still semi complicated. The second easiest is the Hyperdrive but that one even requires black cherry puree which isn't easy to come by.

    • @vinsueringamer2388
      @vinsueringamer2388 2 года назад +1

      Youd have an easier time making the special ingredients if you can (black cherries and puree them in a food processor) most times you can find replacements

    In case you read this - my friend introduced me to a shot called a Green Tea - It's a mix of Irish Whiskey, Peach Snapps, and Sour Mix and somehow when you mix them together it does indeed taste exactly like drinking a sweet green tea. It made me realize there are alot of these weird combinations that make like "magic" shots that don't taste anything like the some of their parts and an episode of them would be fantastic.

So I’m thinking this is a margarita with the açaí liqueur in place of triplesec. Maybe 2 oz. tequila, 1 oz. açaí liqueur, 1 oz lime juice, 0.25 oz simple syrup, and then mango purée? I haven’t tracked down the açaí liqueur yet but it does appear to be a product on shelves, and black salt isn’t too hard to find.

    🤔 Disney seems to be disliking the direction this star wars thing is heading... the establishment... the movies... the movies...
    If i disappear tomorrow. Goofy did it.

    The Fuzzy Tauntaun could easily be done as a non-alcoholic drink.:
    the tropicana blend he used
    a bit of peach juice (there is a peach juice from Simply apparently)
    and some kind of clear soda, that will provide the head base too.

    I had my first fuzzy Ton Ton, I get migraines from lots of disability trauma. That foam actually distracted my brain enough that my migraine went away for a short time. Ogas cantina gave me a full cup of extra foam, just foam for free because it worked better that any strong alcohol

    As somebody who works in the glassware industry, they are hard to find because Durobor just folded recently. We had to change suppliers for a few of our glasses at my work because of it. That's probably why Disney bought their entire stock. Durobor was folding and Disney bought as much as they could to hold off until they need to get new glasses, or can get new glasses made elsewhere. The Gaetan, for example. Especially since Ritzenhoff stopped manufacturing the 0,25l Gaetan. Durobor was having financial troubles even years ago. I'm surprised it took them this long to fold, to be honest.

    The Galaxy's Edge cook book has an exact recipe for the Dagobah Slug Slinger! Also I'm with you, the Slug Slinger was easily my favorite of the Oga's drinks. That rosemary garnish is the MVP.

    The carbon freeze is amazing. Had one today, it’s really good without popping pearls. It kinda tastes like orange Gatorade...just try to not to breath in even through your nose when having it near your mouth

    Yuzu is nearly impossible to find in the states except in select areas. Instead of the citrus juice mix and simple syrup, get a jar of yuja-cheong ( Korean citron tea base ). Use that for the yuzu juice.

    I do distinctly remember Powerade having a strawberry lemonade flavor in 2015ish? It might have been the only electrolyte drink that didn't taste like a lead-acid battery. Maybe that's why it sticks in my mind.
