I’ve only been on CPAP for about 4 months and I use OSCAR all the time. When the recent DST change happened and it messed up my CPAP time I used the CPAP Clock Drift function of OSCAR to correct it. I know it says it “is not intended for timezone corrections” but it works just fine for that purpose. Go to FILE, PREFERENCES and select the CPAP tab. I added 1 hour to the CPAP Clock Drift. OSCAR now changes days at 1 PM instead of noon for your CPAP data.
Removing the card to change TZ on the AS11 is a good idea. It's not necessary to erase data on the AS10 when changing the time backwards, you just need to wait until the next CPAP day (which starts at midday) and change the time before any data has been recorded for that day.
For me, that’s too much effort to do all that for daylight savings and standard time. I’ll just stay 1 hour off 😂 But as always, thanks for the great info.

Hello! I’m looking for a battery powered power source for my bipap machine. I’m planning a 3-day dry camping trip in July. To keep my tent neighbors from hating me, I need it to be as quiet as possible. Do you have any recommendations?
Jason, thanks - how do we get the clock setting of “seconds” on the CPAP machine to match the o2 ring, Apple Watch, automatic clock, etc? It only lets us set minutes and getting the clocks synced on a second by second accuracy is important for Oscar data analysis. Thanks!
I have not found a way to change the clock on my Resmed AirCurve 11, but I can change the clock offset in OSCAR. From the "File" drop down menu, select Preferences, then look for the CPAP tab, next look for "CPAP Clock Drift" which will allow hours, minutes, and/or seconds offsets.
@@ExaltMGNJCTM thanks, I've done that technique during analysis to make up for incorrectly set clock. Unfortunately you can't use this technique to actually change the timestamps of the data, it's just used for viewing the data.
I appreciate your videos. I was wondering what is the realistic goal of CPAP in terms of AHI. Should you to 0 or is 5 or fewer good enough. Thanks
Definitely would not ever rely on the machine reported AHI. It is REALLY inaccurate.
"Real" timestamps are almost always referenced from GMT. West Coast is either -7 or -8 depending on DST. If these devices have a DST on /off setting, that would be the setting to change twice a year as it won't (or shouldn't if done right) affect the data record. If the time is just way off, well never mind.

Great video, erasing data on the machine only deletes it locally from the machine and sd card right, and not from the medical provider records.
The detailed flow data is never uploaded, the only data that is uploaded is rudimentary AHI and compliance time data. The bare minimum.
Oooor, just go to the time drift setting on OSCAR...EASIER.
