Hirenkyaku is about manipulating reishi, so being able to control spiritual matter is what's most important there. Sonido converts your reishi into something that is "not reishi". Big things missed: Kaido is another type of Kido one can use. Reiatsu is controlled by one's physical capabilities AND dependant on mental state. Vollstandig is a perfected letz stil that made letz stil obsolete. Schrifts are granted by Yhwach, while some powers inherent to certain Quincy were simply given a letter to their already processed power (ie Gerard's Miracle.) At a high enough Reiatsu, you can erase the existence of others. High density reiatsu is better than large reiatsu. There is a class system of reishi amongst all things ranging from class 20 to class 1. Class 1 is the highest. Lieutenants often sit between 2 to 4. Captains are typically class 1. Anything class 5 or above can affect the world of the living and destabilize it. Anyone who dies as a soul enters the cycle of reincarnation. Any captain class killed is too powerful for their reishi to go back into the world and a special ritual must be performed to send their reishi to hell.
I do enjoy how most of the power system's mechanics don't even come up in actual fights. Like you could watch every tybw fight without any knowledge of what even the difference between reishi and reiatsu is, and nothing would change

Fullbringer Explanation: They are all born with a piece/fragment of the soul king. However, this attracts hollows that wish to obtain this soul king fragment. When the hollow is killed, its reiatsu is usually absorbed into the mother (and, by extension, the child). Once the soul king fragment mixes with hollow reiatsu, I believe that allows them to manipulate the “souls” of inanimate objects. This usually forms as their fullbring. This is called a Clad-Type fullbring. When a fullbringer is stabbed by a Zanpakutō, I believe the soul king fragment responds to the Zanpakutō and gives them Shinigami powers. Similar to Ichigo (as a substitute soul reaper) and Ginjo. However, a fullbring is typically related to hollow powers, due to the hollow reiatsu inside them. Soul King fragments: When the Soul King's body parts were removed from his body, some parts fell down to Soul Society and the World of the Living. It seems like whoever touches these parts can absorb them into their soul. Those who absorbed these Soul King fragments would then pass them down to their descendants.
And because quincies hold soul king fragments, aka power of yuha basch, they WOULD have the ability to become soul reapers but hollow powers f them up.
99% sure that sonido does not rely on soul energy if i remember correctly it is a purely physical movement performed instinctively by high level hollows creating the iconic boom sound it also masks reiatsu when used

Actually Noitra have the best Hierro in the arrancar army. I love the fact that Shinigamis, arrancars and Quincies use the reishi with great variation. Arrancar and Hollow technique are based on their brute animal strenght, they rely poorly on spells; Shinigamis combine strenght and reishi use, and Quincies mostly rely on reishi use. When a Shinigami or an Arrancar attack, he use his own energy, but the Quincy will use the energy outside of his body.

It's a power system so full of BASIC SKILLS that it feels like you're explaining all of the different Bankai and Shikai and Resurrecciones. I love Bleach so much, even more since I speak Spanish.
you forgot about kaido (healing) form of kido and fullbringer power actually coming from pieces of soul king in their soul which also the reason why hollow attack them in the first place. But overall this is a really good video

@@_yisus well, imma just clarify something, to ME its not complex cause ive seen magic systems and some of them are really complex for no reason. Bleach has a relatively simple power system TO ME cause everything is touched on in the anime and manga and is pretty simple in how to generally works. And when it comes to kido and incantations, for some reason its more reflective of a person's skill or talent, correct me if im wrong, and well, I am a somewhat Sonido expert and will say that it does take reiatsu to perform, but from what i can remember, it relies more on either the physical speed or the physical strength of the user, or something else, i really cant remember

Fulbringers have some amount of power of the soul king in them that was activated by hollow reaitsu. Itchigo works differently(he is exception to every rule in this power system), Chad and Orichime are in some sense fullbringers, but they got their soul king power from hougyoku that was hidden inside Rukia, not like guys form eXeciution which got it form "soul birth"(I am not sure if it is confirmed when in the reincarnation cycle they got their soul king power fragment)

Reishi is not only found in the spiritual world (soul society/hueco mundo) but is also found in the living world, its like nature chakra.. bleach power system not complex but bleach have so many concept so that many new gen manga are inspired by or even use one or more bleach power system concepts.
From my understanding it's basically: Spiritual worlds are made of reishi(spiritual matter) while the World of The Living is made of physical matter, but within physical matter there exists spiritual matter, and that's what they mean when they say that a Fullbringer manipulates the "souls" within objects
1:07 sonido doesn't actually use spirit energy. Arrancar more or less "brute force" high speed movement which is why it's so hard to detect. What's crazy is none of this is stated in universe, comes from the Klub Outside
So ichigo could have a fullbring, use two different zanpakutos to release a resurrection and his bankai, use his fullbribg powers to bond all three together, use cero and balla infused with reiatsu from his quincy sides, and then harden his skin while flowing his reiatsu around for ultimate defense and offense. Now imagine all the different combinations youd be able to create by having these three systems interlock with different users!
He can't do that. Ichigo doesn't have a fullbring anymore (and you can debate whether or not he ever did) and his hollow powers are tied to his shinigami powers so he doesn't have a ressurection, just a bankai that now in TYBW allows him to tap into both his hollow and quincy heritage. He could learn how to use Blut tho, that's a possibility.

Soul energy is Like a be all end up thing similar to magic. You can negate abilities with enough reshi. Meaning poison or hax abilities should not work on people like aizen or kenpachi. Same used to heal shikai like natural recovery as well as speed recovery in healing kido or orihime being the soul exception to this rule but plot keeps her from being broken Can make spells too. Feels like kubo could have put a bit more into it like chakra and nen.
Negating abilities with enough spiritual energy is the worst point in Bleach system Instead of finding a way to avoid dodge or something else tricky, Aizen tanks Soi Fon's shikai and survives cuz he's built different. It's funny but really unfair and boring. Then Ichibe and Toshiro can negate abilities but congrats guys, everyone can do that if they have more energy than the opponent.

Ya, this helps. Reading fanfiction was so confusing because I had never seen the words written out and was confusing some of them. Particularly the forms of spirit energy.
You do realize pretty much all of this was a thing before conquerors haki was actually a thing, and dont say shanks in episode 3 or whatever used it because no one actually knew, reiatsu and the other stuff were already a thing since episode 1
The method of floating or flight for soul reapers, quincy, and hollows is them just using reiatsu formed on the bottom of the feet allowing them to have some form of arial based movement. Full Bringers on the other hand are quite literally using they're own soul to turn internal reiryoku into external reiatsu to command the soul of an object or if strong enough a person, for flight a full bringer tell the air to basically fling them in controlled directions and the speed comes from them using Bringer Light which is them just telling the air and the ground beneath them to give more controlled energy to they're movement through what is basically elasticity. Soul reapers, quincy, and hollows can more or less be explained away with reiryoku from these three lets you use soul magic while full bringers need to quite literally use reiryoku and external reiatsu to bend the laws of physics to they're whim.

I still find it funny that the series makes no explanation about how Shunpo, Sonido or Hirenkyaku are technique wise different from each other, but still makes sure that characters know the difference by reacting surprised. 😂
They do explain the difference between shunpo and sonido. The sonido hides their spiritual pressure when used which could make the enemy lose their target.

^ just like the person stated above. Also Ichigo has been shown to utilize both Shunpo and Sonido in different situations. Hollowfied Ichigo was prominent in using sonido, but even in TYBW Ichigo entered Soul Society w/ Sonido as well.

If you compare the platforms made Quincys and non-Quincys, Quincys pull the reishi toward them and shape it into platforms, just like the spirit bow/arrow they use, while non-Quincy platforms originate from the creator and forms outward, like when Unohana made the pathway inside the garganta during the fake karakura arc. Yhwach took control of all the reishi in the vicinity, so the shikigamis had nothing to latch their reiatsu on.
Only wrong things are the "hierro part" where you say that Nnoitora hierro is worse than Yammy hierro. (Nnoitora said he is the best hierro user). And the other thing is the fullbringer part, I don't want to spoil that much, but I'll say that it has a conection with the Soul king
Watching this made me wonder, what happens if you invent a new Kido that isn't more difficult than everything before it. Do they have to change how everyone chants now? Do they have people going "Hado 30- no wait 31: Shakkahō"
Pretty sure that if anyone could make a new kido it would be a variation of an already made kido so say shakaho as you mention now say I use a red burning property kido but instead of a blast it’s a disc it would just be counted as a variation of it so all the kido account for the basics of kido and you can adapt them into variations the reason we don’t see these is there is little use for a variation but kisukes binding technique he used on aizen would be counted as one
It may have to do with Ichibei. Numbered kido is kind of officially approved kido which is considered approved as part of the shinigami arts though there are some forbidden kido in numbered kido as well (no96 ittokaso and no99 Goryūtenmetsu). There are many more kido that have no number often because they are quite new (by Shinigami standards), limited to chosen group (Seppa - Shiba clan, or whatever Tessai did in TBTP arc was limited to Kido corps captains), lacking universal applicability (Sokyoku release seal, Urahara's sealing of Aizen etc.). Assuming you developed new kido between hado 29 and 30 it would probably have to be approved by all Seireitei authorities ( process that could take millenia), passed to Royal guard and approved by them at which point Ichibei would use Ichimonji to permanently change the true name of the kido to numbered one which would take care of the misnumbering issue.

Itchigo works differently(he is exception to every rule in this power system), Chad and Orichime are in some sense fullbringers, but they got their soul king power from hougyoku that was hidden inside Rukia, not like guys form eXeciution which got it form "soul birth"(I am not sure if it is confirmed when in the reincarnation cycle they got their soul king power fragment)

Now imagine all the different combinations youd be able to create by having these three systems interlock with different users!
He can't do that. Ichigo doesn't have a fullbring anymore (and you can debate whether or not he ever did) and his hollow powers are tied to his shinigami powers so he doesn't have a ressurection, just a bankai that now in TYBW allows him to tap into both his hollow and quincy heritage. He could learn how to use Blut tho, that's a possibility.

The method of floating or flight for soul reapers, quincy, and hollows is them just using reiatsu formed on the bottom of the feet allowing them to have some form of arial based movement. Full Bringers on the other hand are quite literally using they're own soul to turn internal reiryoku into external reiatsu to command the soul of an object or if strong enough a person, for flight a full bringer tell the air to basically fling them in controlled directions and the speed comes from them using Bringer Light which is them just telling the air and the ground beneath them to give more controlled energy to they're movement through what is basically elasticity.
Soul reapers, quincy, and hollows can more or less be explained away with reiryoku from these three lets you use soul magic while full bringers need to quite literally use reiryoku and external reiatsu to bend the laws of physics to they're whim.

Fullbring concept is wrong what you described was only one guys power not whole concept.
I still find it funny that the series makes no explanation about how Shunpo, Sonido or Hirenkyaku are technique wise different from each other, but still makes sure that characters know the difference by reacting surprised. 😂
They do explain the difference between shunpo and sonido.
The sonido hides their spiritual pressure when used which could make the enemy lose their target.
^ just like the person stated above. Also Ichigo has been shown to utilize both Shunpo and Sonido in different situations. Hollowfied Ichigo was prominent in using sonido, but even in TYBW Ichigo entered Soul Society w/ Sonido as well.

If you compare the platforms made Quincys and non-Quincys, Quincys pull the reishi toward them and shape it into platforms, just like the spirit bow/arrow they use, while non-Quincy platforms originate from the creator and forms outward, like when Unohana made the pathway inside the garganta during the fake karakura arc.
Yhwach took control of all the reishi in the vicinity, so the shikigamis had nothing to latch their reiatsu on.

Watching this made me wonder, what happens if you invent a new Kido that isn't more difficult than everything before it. Do they have to change how everyone chants now? Do they have people going "Hado 30- no wait 31: Shakkahō"
Pretty sure that if anyone could make a new kido it would be a variation of an already made kido so say shakaho as you mention now say I use a red burning property kido but instead of a blast it’s a disc it would just be counted as a variation of it so all the kido account for the basics of kido and you can adapt them into variations the reason we don’t see these is there is little use for a variation but kisukes binding technique he used on aizen would be counted as one

Numbered kido is kind of officially approved kido which is considered approved as part of the shinigami arts though there are some forbidden kido in numbered kido as well (no96 ittokaso and no99 Goryūtenmetsu).
There are many more kido that have no number often because they are quite new (by Shinigami standards), limited to chosen group (Seppa - Shiba clan, or whatever Tessai did in TBTP arc was limited to Kido corps captains), lacking universal applicability (Sokyoku release seal, Urahara's sealing of Aizen etc.).
Assuming you developed new kido between hado 29 and 30 it would probably have to be approved by all Seireitei authorities ( process that could take millenia), passed to Royal guard and approved by them at which point Ichibei would use Ichimonji to permanently change the true name of the kido to numbered one which would take care of the misnumbering issue.
