Mario! Mussolini! Communists and NATO! M1D Breda vs SVD?! Vintage Rifles Shooters Club takes on Italian Garand, M1D Breda Sniper! Thank you for watching and please don't forget to subscribe!
The target camera is fantastic in capturing the bullet's flight downrange, a real nice visual treat! Also, I love the sheer joy of the trigger man just enjoying a day out with his hobby.
Great fun on the range ! Just ordered me a VRSC t shirt cause I got 35+ old guns WW2 and back myself and makes sense ! Love your videos and God Bless !!!
One important thing to remember. When zeroing a rifle with an off set scope mount you zero it for the point of impact at the range you expect to need the majority of hits. Other distances you need to know how much to hold left or right (Kentucky Windage). You learn this by spending time on the rifle. With the M1 or any other clip feed rifle that loads through the top that's the way it is
Good video. For those wanting more information, the summer 2020 Garand Collectors Association Journal article written by Mike Bernazzani and George Oberaigner provided a well documented history of the origins of the rifles.
Mine is. I cut the barrel off mine cause I couldn't stand that .268 bore. I'm getting it rebarreled in .264 so I can load Lehigh defense brass controlled chaos bullets. And a new custom walnut stock. Trigger I'm getting polished to a mirror and a np3 coating done on it. Also tapping the action for a tiny a rail. It's getting a pistol red dot sight so I can slaughter deer this season. PSA sold me a rusted turd and I'm going to make something out of it. Really was hoping to keep it stock but I prefer a working gun and not a wall hanger
Nice to see an italian Garand on an american channel. For what i know, no "sniper ammo" were issued by italian army, just the equivalent of M80 ball ammo. Italian accent played by strangers is hilarious! Greeting from Italy.
its one thing raising a daughter and training her how to use firearms but shooting vintage snipers is the next level. If I ever have a daughter this will be the goal. So cool!
Enjoyed your vid. Really like your new shoot platform/position. What is floor's elevation above grade? We built similar, with shooting position 12' above grade. Located in the "Flint Hills" (S.E. Kansas) the topography requires an elevated shoot position.
Great video on the Tipo 2! I recently picked one up in excellent condition and glad to see content coming out about them. My Tipo 2 did not come with a M84 scope unfortunately, and noticed the scope in your video looks in amazing shape. Can I ask where you sourced your M84 scope? I also have an M1D in 30-06 that has an original M84, but would prefer each rifle to have its own dedicated M84 scope versus swapping it between the two. I saw Numrich Gun Parts has repro M84 Scopes, but feel unsure as to their durability and viability to make a good shooter. Any help and insight is most appreciated!
Argentine marine corps snipers still use some M1C / kollmorgen scope (The rifles were included into a donated ship, surely they served as mine hunting ) we also have beretta bm59 in service ( some fought and got lost at Falklands war )
Rob. The Italian's were building the BM-59 in 1959, a cousin to the US M-14. BM-59 in 7.62x51 so ah some of your dates are a little off. The Italian's Berreta and Breada built M1's and BM-59 in the 50's, I have a Italian's parts kit M1 , with Italian and Springfield parts and Danish Royal Arsenal numbered stock. Thanks was an interesting video
very good shooting! if you can hit that target with a X2,5 imaging the Germans and British could do the same as well, so that comment that WW2 snipers were not that good is b.....it! excellent shooting and I would like to see the young lassie shooting. I really enjoy seeing young people shooting AND ENJOYING shooting old military rifles. keep the excellent work
Nice rifles and great shooting! Do you zero your M1D for POI to be about 1” right to accommodate the offset scope and minimize the cross over at longer ranges? Also do you notice that you have to crawl the stock to get your eye close enough for best eye relief? I have my scope as far back as possible and the tip of my nose is forward of the receiver hump, with irons my nose is right at the rear edge of the receiver.
Rob - you are becoming my favorite channel! And loving Veronica as well , my kind of girl - and lastly these rifles in 7.62x51 are they using the mbloc clips?
Veronica CAN! SHOOT! It’s great she has a Dad that has the skill to teach her. IMO, every youngster needs proper exposure and instruction on weapons. Especially hand guns for self & home defense. The world has gone crazy with mentally I’ll and drug use driven “ people?” and every person needs to be able to protect themselves. Another great video. And Dad, please stop interrupting your daughter!
hi !!! i would ask to you a question, you have many targets in your range on 360 degree around you, where do finish the bullets after, behind, all that several targets ... they free fly in the air on every where direction ...?!? 😉 it may be very dangerous or not to be ... for you ?!? 😁🤭😉
any chance of 6.5mm Mannlicher-Carcano rifle, 3 rounds in 6 seconds at a moving target.......250 feet. just to see how hard it really was for an infamous person from history...... 😉
Thats what happens when girls have a father.they become good shots.love shooting vintage 22s with my daughter.single shot bolt action 22s teach you marksmanship.anyone can dump lead down range.
You know Veronica needs her own channel, right?

yeah that bullet trail is one of my favorite things in these videos
Great video. You tell him Veronica. Can't let your dad get away with sloppy shooting at 500 yards. LOL
Those are a couple of Beautiful rifles.
I'm so glad you two started this channel
Looks like you and the family are having way too much fun, Rob! Awesome video!
“Mario would be proud of you!” How the hell can you not love Rob!
Your daughter seems like a sweet soul also she is beautiful. I can tell she has been raised well. God Bless.

I think it would be great to see you and Veronica pull off a 2 gun challenge against Jerry Miculek and his daughter on the InRangetv channel.
Thanks for another great video. The vintage rifles are beautiful.

I can already hear the Carcano’s sulking in the background.

This is a really great series! Loved the duel with the SVD
Enjoying the new channel! Recently picked up an el cheapo M48B Mauser and it's going elk hunting with me this year, great fun shooting surplus rifles!
Very informative and enjoyable video…thank y’all 👍👍👍
Thanks to both of you on a history lesson about a couple of rifles I never heard of untill the cool Rob Ski and company brought it out into the light.
Great informative video. I especially enjoy the banter and teasing that Veronica gives you.
I love the brief history lessons at the beginnings of the videos!
Enjoyed your vid.

Come on. You were going for a headshot on the crow. Admit it. lol.
22:37 misses purposely so he can switch back to M1D 😆
Lol, YES!

Great show, as for the the miss. That's human.
I have seen some rechambered from .06 to .308 for sale from the CMP if I remember correctly.
21:39 misses purposely with M1D as an excuse to use SVD 🤣👍
Rob - you are becoming my favorite channel! And loving Veronica as well , my kind of girl - and lastly these rifles in 7.62x51 are they using the mbloc clips?
In for the Mario Brothers Operators Union!
Hahahahah! Nice!
And people say the m1 garand is inaccurate. It's very capable
I've never heard that, always that they are accurate
People who say the M1 is an inaccurate rifle are the same people who judge accuracy based off of 1/4 MOA groups with extremely high precision rifles.

Miss Hell. You were aiming for the Crows. Lol
Great video i love my M1 now ill have to get a M1D lol
They are awesome. You will enjoy it even more and prices are still not bad.
Someone probably said it but do you think that at 350 the drift can be contributed to the parallel zero of the optic?
It would be fun to see you shoot against Veronica. Maybe a game like horse or something.
hi !!!

On 360 range, if there is any miss, they end up in huge natural berms because this is at the bottom of the valley.
Ski only allows her a sentence or so, whats the point of having her ski? Good on you Veronica
Waiting for L42A1 test!!!!1
I am likeing this a lot 👍

Lol, only one problem with this, I don't have "magic bullets"...Ha!
Where do you get the ammo you are using for the m1D?
I was able to buy some ammo before whole hoopla started. I also reload but it’s hard to buy any components now too…
Can you do a video with the m91 ts carcano shooting all the targets like in this video
you can see-- Veronica is a brainiack ! A big-brain !
Do BM59
Rob, you're a lucky man! I've always wanted a daughter.
It doesn’t make sense tho coz this is in the post war era so why Mussolini 😂?
Not that I hate i- oh no I mean… bad bad… 👀
Jokes aside amazing video.
See: Operation Gladio.
Yes, I’m very aware of that operation. Tons of Cold War history is still not really well known…
Also veronica needs a girls can shoot channel.feel sorry for the boy who meets dad.he better measure up.lol
Thats what happens when girls have a father.they become good shots.love shooting vintage 22s with my daughter.single shot bolt action 22s teach you marksmanship.anyone can dump lead down range.
Carcano m38 (1000 yard)
So basically impossible for me to shoot these guns bc im a lefty 🤣
Lol, wow, they really screw you guys up on that one for sure! 😄
So you can buy a k31 and put a clamp on side mount (its offset to the right )
Welcome to the lefty club😂
This is so wholesome. Love the content. Hit the sub bell button fast.
What accent do you have? I can't tell if it's Russian or German
Neither.
@@SluggerStark what is it?
@@chanceterrill5346 Maybe he has a polish accent
Polish. Russian is much softer. However, since he enunciates so well, his accent does not impede understanding.
like a young Sarah Palin :-)
only you understand the meaning of this video !!if we were to pull out all the stereotypes about you being 10 years old in 5 seconds.
Based
Mr. Ski, you've got a lovely daughter...
