As a final year med student and an avid knitter you guys are my perfect little RUclips niche! The foot pedal for Anki sounds like a game-changer 🤯 Love the Aussie content and getting recommendations for yarn that is actually accessible here. I've been working my way back through your videos, and can't express how much I love sitting down to knit along with them so thank you!!
Haha love it. Hope you have a great last year of uni (don’t work too hard, you e got your entire career to do that) so make sure spending lots of time knitting instead 😛 where you based?
Lovely finished objects, both! I’ve had the Fortune sweater in my queue for quite a while now… love your mock neck version! Gorgeous yarns and LUV your study / knit hack, so cool!😅
I've been going back through and watching your podcasts from the beginning and I love them so much! it's so good to have an Australian based podcast to watch where the seasons line up and the yarn suggestions are relevant to me! When I visited Melbourne last year I went to both Maker Maker and Sunspun and they were amazing :) I love your vibes its like sitting with friends. - from fellow Aussie (Ngunnawal/Canberra based)
Yay I'm so glad 🥰 For so long I just accepted that I was watching all knitting podcasts 6 months out of sync so glad that we can be on a more freindly time frame. Are there any yarn shops in Canberra? (all of a sudden I'm imagining pollies sitting around knitting together and putting aside their differences to chat about yarn or something...)
@@twopurlsinapod haha that is a funny picture to imagine! there are quite a few actually for the size of the city. This we have 4-5 local stores. There is one called Makerie which stocks isager, cascade and a lot of similar brands which is very good. We are also only 30mins away from the blackwattle fibre farm store which is INCREDIBLE! if you ever come to the region I would recommend, yarn and alpacas galore!
ooooomg the foot pedal life hack 🤯 i wish i had something that was that simple that i could just control like that. maybe i need to just get a dance dance revolution pad and play video games with my feet and knit at the same time. thats the number 1 thing i complain to my friends about LOL that i can't play video games while i'm knitting!! anyway so glad youtube showed me your video on my home feed! y'all are so fun i subscribed immediately
I'm an Aussie recently moved to Olso and i had no idea that garntopia existed and was only a 20 min walk from home 🤯🤯🤯. Can't wait to have a look! Completely agree about the merino though, so spoilt back home 😊. Reallly enjoyed the pod
Just spent $200 at bendigo… and I’m in Canada 😂 THANKS A LOT! I’m actually very excited. Just hope it shows up when my partner isn’t at home and can see the 10 big balls of yarn!
Hahaha, you're welcome :P Glad we can introduce more of the world to Bendigo Woollen Mills. You should have seen how much we had with our recent order...

Haha thanks, it’s a bit niche but got me through a lot of flash cards. I’m still eyeing off the fortune sweater too after seeing Paige’s.

OMG so jealous. So much access to so much yarn! Anything you’ve come across that you’d recommend?
I am trying so hard to knit this jacket but i just can not understand the pattern at all...
Behind the curve here but really hope your exams went well. Much respect for the hard work to become a doctor 😎
Hello! Thanks so mcuh, yep they did. Now poor Paige is in the same situation as I was a year later...
