I really like how he adjusted the tempo. The ballady opening was a nice twist on the original, but the song is pretty repetitive, so it would have gotten a bit boring. Speeding it back up to the original tempo definitely kept my interest and slowing it back down at the end was a nice touch. I also noticed something interesting in the choruses on the word can't. Sometimes it sounded very British (cahn't) and other times it sounded much more nasally and American.
Glad to see I'm not the only person who cried when they first heard this cover! Watching your reaction makes me feel the same way and I've got goosebumps again

I was a teen when Kiss did this song, never liked it. Then i watch The fall guy, playing at the same time, noticed the intro, then a overwelming feeling came when i heard this song. Few days later i actually looked for the soundtrack, to realize it was Youngblud, that i just discovered a few months earlier, sorry 😊 This guy is Amaizing, last song on my play list, Lowlife, so i go looking for a video of it, and there he was! Last one to impress me till this day is Freddy, so that is how much i look forward to his extraordinary talent and the good he does for other's, like is friendship tent! brilliant, wish i was younger to participate.

I love the song but there's a few I love by kiss... there's a few artists that have at least 1 song they dislike or hate of there's... so he's not the first nor will he be the last to not like one or more of their own songs
i heard this from the fall guy and didn't realize it was yungblud until i looked it up and oh my GOD. I never knew he could sing like this, the only other song i heard from him until now was Parents....
This rendition is in my opinion much more evocative than the original version. I'd much rather listen to this than the original from Kiss. It's really a viscerally charged soul stirring vibrato. It reaches out to you from start to finish.

2:00 it was more like, the product of Paul Stanley (Of KISS) and Desmond Child finally writing songs for each others bands, even though both Paul and Gene have expressed some disappointment over the way that the entire record turned out, and sure, the story goes "it was the producers fault" and so on. But according to leaked rehearsal tapes and according to producer Vini Poncia, they all (band and producer) agreed that it should sound this way, they were actively trying to mimic that sound OBS: or something like that, I wrote this of the top of my head, maybe I got some things wrong, but still, they all wanted it to sound like that at the time

As an old man who grow up with it I still think that the original is the better one, but the point is: The "overrated" KISS earn a lot more money now even with this version!
Overrated? "I Was Made for Lovin' You" was the band's second Gold single, selling over 1 million copies. The single was certified Gold in the U.S. on August 16, 1979. Yungblod would be lucky to get 10,000 sold.
