  • The last and biggest jobs for last!
Solar panels, solar arch, lithium and everything in between. It’s count down to launch but we have a major issue that pulls us out of the water only minutes after launching. This video has it all going on and a great record of what the shipyard can be like (highs and lows).
These videos are a record for our family and friends to our journey of sailing and fishing around the world. If you like them feel free to subscribe to our channel and we plan to produce a video every one to two weeks.
    Thanks for tuning in team.
Massive thanks to Mario Lawrence for the stainless steel work, Steve from Gold Coast Canvas and Phil from H2O Marine for all the lithium and solar work, 3 absolute legends and great workmanship that finished off our time in the shipyard on a possitive note.

We are so enjoying this journey with you Tony, Bea and family.. We nearly met you having booked a Cabo trip just before Covid! Yikes a lot of water under our bridges since then! (particularly yours) You're such an inspiring family and we wish you all the best from NZ. Andrew & Val.

Out of curiosity what is your plan if your single 3000 watt inverter fails? Is your generator still working?

@@fountainvalley100 our generator is still running but to be fair it only runs a/c and the battery charger for the lithium.

I knew you had a lot to do to make Ikigai what you wanted but your efforts were extraordinary. Loved Brooke’s commentary too! X

Thanks Judy, nothing like a bit of hard work now and then. Kids are loving the change. Its pretty hard getting the camera off Brooke these days with comments like "I know what I am doing Dad"
