I just did the same thing. I bought a set 2004 topps to get the Yadier Molina rookie. I got the set $30 cheaper than the single card is selling for on eBay.
Would you advise doing the com auction that goes to ebay would get a good value for my card or low balled and sold for cheaper than what I wanted for it ? Any comments or personal experiences?
I think COMC is good for cards that are unique (not a standard base card of a player that they have tons of already) and that are $1-$25. For example, it's a great place for patch cards, auto cards and parallels that don't have a ton of value.
I've done a lot of the stuff that Joe mentions here so nothing new for me. But there is a market for cards from the 80s and 90s. He just doesn't know how to sell them like I do. Every card can be sold no matter the year its from. I know a lot of card sellers don't like to buy those years, but there is definitely a way to make money from them.
I agree there is a market for 80s and 90s. For example, one of my prior videos was about a guy who likes to buy 90s basketball junk wax to hunt for Jordans and then get the best ones graded, and he makes profit that way. I'm sure you have other ways of profiting from 80s and 90s as well, as I know you sell a ton of cards on eBay.

recently started video with some of my troops like right now as I speak Sunday morning I'm driving down interstate 20 out of Atlanta headed to Alabama and I'm stopping at every Walmart and Target to see what's new I also talked to the guy who works the car tracks at Walmart but yeah boy voice text so excuse any discrepancies

Recently got a white sparkle oladipo from prizm 2018 for 4 bucks and a donovan mitchell optic putple from 2017 for only 12
