Rick Stark Yeah, he talked about it a loooonng time ago on the Bombcast. No idea when, but it was in the early years because The Ricky Gervais Show was still relevant... they were talking about other popular podcasts. He said he seriously doubts Karl is authentic.
First I've heard about UPF and panels being rehearsed as a whole. I don't doubt that certain segments get rehearsed, especially if they're skit-like or stunty, like Dan kicking Alex in the face. Also, when there are technical difficulties for the intro of UPF and you see them have the "same" conversation again... but I don't consider that the same thing.

Man, Kline was a really charming dude. I think he could do well as a performer. (If he were so inclined.) He has personality for days and a wonderful demeanor, with a good sense of humor to boot. Conan should have him come on the show after his tour. (God willing he survives it that is.) Just to "check in" and maybe do a skit together.

I am Bradley's mom. I knew when I saw his hand go up why he was covering his name, and I had only learned a few months before this aired about their deal with the name thing. He was stationed in New Jersey, and some of the guys from his shop had been called to the construction scene at Burlington County Community College for some unexploded ordnance that was found while they were digging. He had texted me about it, and I looked it up online, and I saw photos with names of the guys. I told him I had seen it, not knowing about their game. I thought it was so funny when he told me.
He sent me the link to this the day after it aired. We did not have TBS at the time it aired, it would have been cool to see it on TV when it was on. I know your comment was 2 years ago, but I had seen a reply from someone that was recent, so I was just looking through some others.

Haha!!!! I KNEW what was coming, because he told me about the "policy" they have about their names being in the media, probably a few months before this. So I KNEW what was coming! His hand went right up to his pocket in an attempt to cover his name. Some guys from his shop were mentioned in an online article where they were called to a college construction site to pick up some old ordnance unearthed. I told him about it, because he had first texted me about the situation and I looked it up online.
