ASAP rocky and Kanye at the time were really bringing high end fashion and merging it with streetwear and hiphop. G-Dragon imo should be recognised for paying attention to American trends and what they were doing while bringing it over to Asia. And of course he added his own flair/style.

He has that crazy cheeky rapper swag arrogance on stage and in front of crowds but it’s mixed with an unusual respectful, sweet shyness off stage, and we can’t forget about that killer smile. Being a Fashion Design/Style student, i can't take off my eyes from GD's red outfit. Also i loved the idea of wearing a turtle neck with the check sweater under a coat thing + the matching color of his googles and the handkerchief decor in the pocket 😍 so luve it.
I remember when GD wore those chunky Balenciaga shoes. No one wore it at that time it was 2016. It made everyone in Korea, China and Japan go crazy over those shoes And from there the fire caught Europe and USA. That single trend made the current generation buy Balenciaga more than they used to.
Thing is, GD's fashion is just a mismatch of chaos and accessories and every casual outfit paired with an even unusual outfit, but strangely it makes sense and it works. Like its chaotic and poetic at the same time
