I totally get what you’re saying about hhp, but I would say it’s more fun if you think of it as an extension of your island. So for example I’m still in the middle of my dark academia college campus. I made the hospital dark and moody with a lot of bookcases and (fake) classic art. For kidscore it could be a really cute pediatric doctor’s office. For your theme, I’d probably make it look like a coastal small town doctor’s office with a cute kiddie area in the waiting room. I don’t know if that helps, I can’t remember what you did when I watched the hhp part of this series. I also like to gift my villagers chocolate and then make larger versions of their island homes for hhp. Especially because you can have multiple rooms, with businesses downstairs and small studio apartments upstairs.
Since your island is so overgrown with trees and flowers already, I am very in favor of many big staggered blankets. It will give way cozier picnic and sleepover vibes 😊
