I was reading that the I’d sensor won’t work if the home button is replaced because of Apple soft where. Was this resolved?

You can’t reprogram the button unless you use the original or take it to apple and have it reprogrammed for a stupid high price

not disconnect the screen of your phone and leave it leaning on something saved me a lot of fuss for me. cuz if u disconnect it, u need to put it back, and I suck at that kind of stuff

So there's nothing special to do to reseat that gasket on the button when you reinstall? It was stuck down good when I removed the button.

@@Jason-jk3tn I just put it back together as shown. The button seems to have a bit more play in it than it did, but it's working since then. Touch ID no longer works though.

So I am doing a replacement and I thought the gasket was the reason it wouldnt click but the replacement home button on the 6s wont click? Any tips?

Maybe you didn't put the upper right plate screw hole UNDER the screen's screw hole extension. Note how the cover plate came off.

What if you want Touch ID but water damaged happened to the phone messing up the home button

Try to take it out and clean the water damage. Touch ID can't be reprogrammed into another home button so if you can't fix the original you are not in luck.

I have replaced the battery from a local shop. After battery replacement. The phone was working for 10 days. Suddenly the display is just blank. Iphone gets detected in iTunes. It also detects the SIM card .But display is just blank.Data is very important for me .kindly help me to rectify this problem.I can ship this device to your place.

Sounds like you ripped one of the ribbons from the screen to the logic board. I’ve replaced my battery at least 12 times on my 6s as all the used ones were under 80% health. I now have one thats 99% health. The screen will go blank if when you took out the battery and you broke the ribbon. You probably need a new screen. They’re cheap. About $20 and under. You’ll have to put your old home button into the new screen otherwise you will lose your fingerprint touch reader.
