Not complicated its the studio version in the video, not hard to understand , u just have to listen other acoustic version of it and he dont sound the same , use brain pls
I’m turning 22 this year and this song has always been a favorite of mine from such a young age because of my mom. When I hit freshmen year of high school, I started discovering all of these old hits from my childhood and ventured out into more than just what I heard growing up. Dove DEEP into bands such as The Fray, Kings of Leon, The Killers, etc. This band and their songs will forever be part of why I have the music taste I do today and why I’m very secure with the things I feel because of bands like these that turn emotions into beautiful art.
You know that feeling when you hear a song for the first time? the goosebumps setting in, feelings that you've burried deep inside, uncontrollably crawling their way back to the surface. And that's when it hits you, this is the song that's gotta be played at your funeral, this is the song you want to echo through the churchwalls, the sound to fade away in the crown of the trees when your family and friends grant you their final goodbye.. And you keep that song close to your heart for the rest of your life, you carry it with you. Knowing that when this song is played at the very last moment of your existence , you feel a slight second of relief and peace, when thinking about your death. This is mine..
December 1, 2019. My favorite song is "How to save a life" I first heard it October 2006. I fell in love with that song. I don't get tired of listening to it. The Gray, bless you guys.. and for this beautiful song, "you found me".
You Found Me The Fray Lyrics I found God on the corner of First in Amistad Where the west was all but won All alone Smoking his last cigarette I said where you been? He said, ask anything Where were you When everything was falling apart? All my days Spent by the telephone That never rang And all I needed was a call That never came From the corner of First and Amistad Lost and insecure You found me, you found me Lying on the floor Surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you, where were you? Just a little late You found me, you found me In the end Everyone ends up alone Losing her The only one who's ever known Who I am, who I'm not, and who I wanna be No way to know How long she will be next to me Lost and insecure You found me, you found me Lying on the floor Surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you, where were you? Just a little late You found me, you found me Early morning City breaks I've been calling For years and years and years and years And you never left me no messages You never send me no letters You got some kind of nerve Taking all I want Lost and insecure You found me, you found me Lying on the floor Where were you? Where were you? Lost and insecure You found me, you found me Lying on the floor Surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you, where were you? Just a little late You found me, you found me Why'd you have to wait To find me? To find me?
This video is the epitome of how music should be played.....no bells and whistles or flashy shows.....just great music. When it's amazing you need nothing more!
Solo decir que es la ostia de canción, el tono de acústico le da el toque de un sonido realmente bueno y a la vez ese sonido se vuelve precioso.Solo decir que pedazo de tema y que siga a si este pedazo de grupo.
I'm always anxious to click on a live/accoustic performance of bands I like if I haven't seen it before because it doesn't always end up sounding great, but damn, The Fray sounds like they do in the studio. Maybe even better!
I've begun to fall in love in a beautiful girl when I heard this song.... before that I wasn't sure in my feelings, I was lost and dunno... but after hearing this beautiful song, I knew... that she found me!
Miketheman926 😢 "Where were you when everything was falling apart? All my days spent by the telephone That never rang And all I needed was a call That never came" "Why'd you have to wait? Where were you?"
been a fan since i was a kid and only now did i realize that isaac looks like jesse pinkman and ben looks like jon snow! as if i couldn't find any more reason to love this band.
DAMN. big, fat, shiny gold star for their sound engineer. man...this is just soo perfectly mixed. sounds just like the album version, only better cuz its live. incredibly clean tight performance on the bands part too. for me personally, this recording is the ultimate representation of what *true professional musicianship* really sounds like. 😍👌🍻🙏🙌👏💯
Oh wow! I remember this video when it only had some 100,000 views! So glad it's still up and gaining ever more popularity--one of the best Acoustics ever!
i have so much respect for this band bc they are really talented and their vocals are flawless! anybody knows other good songs by them?( i know this one and how to save a life)
Jason Doucette I think it’s a song about suicide. Just like a lot of fray songs. One could draw that conclusion but I think this one is most about the person committing suicide and “how to save a life” is about the person finding them
This is the song that get me down from that rooftop years ago. Thank you. You found me.
!!!! What? Really?? Take care... Life CAN be different.. ; )
how beautiful. i hope you're doing okay man
If I was on a rooftop and heard this song I’d use it as motivation to jump😂
I'm proud of you
This literally sounds exactly like the studio version. God bless his vocals

The best part...
We are a universe on to our own, we are the infinite, yet we are contained restricted to such a space.
Best unplugged ever heard, best band!! and still kicking on 2022 :)
The skill it takes to sing this clean and consistent is something to praise

This song is the best unplugged version I’ve ever heard. God bless his voice
keith urban - till summer comes around
People sleep so hard on the Fray. They had such a huge influence on this genre of music.
Acoustic music is unbeatable when it's clean and sang by someone with real talent like this group has.
The Fray makes a song that looks like a song with love lyrics, even though the real meaning is about his faith in God
I just can't get over his voice
made me cry
".. ♩♫..Where were you
When everything was falling apart ♩♫..? 💔
***** Yes, especially this part
aww Dun cry, I'll take to to disney land Chloeeeee

I can't get enough of Isaac's voice--ever. Been a fan since 2005 and always will be one. Love you guys!
The acoustic is as perfect as the recorded version. True talent!
How does he do it? To create such a beautiful song, so personal, yet so universal. This band does not get enough credit.
Song born to let us cry...
Erik D'Ascoli Not for certain men then, or are we the ones who end up alone.!!"
Smooth, Passionate.
If I had Isaac's voice. I would never talk.. I would sing EVERYTHING..
I love these guys. Saw them in Seattle. Was on of the best nights of my life.
Such a raw talent.Music is so beautiful when you put emotion in it just like what they did.

If internet back then was as big as now, this band would have been so much bigger.
The song that never gets old :) Always the best. Long live the Fray! You're the only band that really touched the depth of our souls.
Loving min 3:02. Love this band. I wish they could play together again :(
They're sooooo underrated!
The people who have the most amazing voices are not as recognize than they should be. The Fray being the most passionate band of all time.
Saw The Fray live in Huntsville, Alabama at the Big Spring Jam and was one of the best performances that Ive ever seen!
They're so underrated... love the fray🤘🏾
I already thought that they were extremely talented, but this is just out of this world talented. Absolutely amazing and truly hypnotising 🤩

Fray**
ive been sat here for three days staring at my blank page of an art history assignment but on the upside rediscovering my love for the fray =)
This is like the only band I can listen to live/acoustic versions all day, they're so perfect.
The Fray would have dominated. But too bad, they're so underrated right now
Ikr ... instead ,shitty commercial mainstream music is overrated and getting more credit for god knows what. Smh
If they kept this style they would be.
It's all about timing
@@rulerofall2320 agreed!!! I hope we see them return to it one day!!!
Too much God talk and not enough giving lap dances to Satan or WAP type of satanic worshiping shit.
Geez, I'm impressed .. his voice is beautiful
Thank you Lord for this amazing band of awesomeness!!! :-)
Incredible voice! Blows you away from the first second in every song.
Great sound and video quality. THX!

I love his voice!!!😍
It's amazing how they can do an acoustic and make it sound just as good, if not better, than the original. This song has gotten me through so much.
I love you guys on a totally different level than just about every other stand out awesome band
Sometimes we feel like God left us miserable, but surely He is not taking us for granted.. He will come to the rescue and save us just in time..
This song makes me so sad and teary eyed.
This melts my ears and my heart lol
You Found Me
The Fray
Lyrics
I found God on the corner of First in Amistad
Where the west was all but won
All alone
Smoking his last cigarette
I said where you been?
He said, ask anything
Where were you
When everything was falling apart?
All my days
Spent by the telephone
That never rang
And all I needed was a call
That never came
From the corner of First and Amistad
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lying on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you, where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
In the end
Everyone ends up alone
Losing her
The only one who's ever known
Who I am, who I'm not, and who I wanna be
No way to know
How long she will be next to me
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lying on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you, where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
Early morning
City breaks
I've been calling
For years and years and years and years
And you never left me no messages
You never send me no letters
You got some kind of nerve
Taking all I want
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lying on the floor
Where were you? Where were you?
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lying on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you, where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
Why'd you have to wait
To find me?
To find me?
🖤🖤
Thanks
