- Day 1 of my pretend two day tournament on Lake Lowell as part of my Idaho bass fishing tour in 2022. This channel is dedicated to the memory of Aaron Martens, who along with his Mother Carol and a man named Don Iovino, helped light the fire in me to become passionate about bass fishing.
I live 5 minutes from lake Lowell. You’re absolutely correct, it gets HAMMERED on the weekends. Too many people here now.
shore fish on lake lowl ALL THE TIME but cant catch bass. any tips?
The best tip I can give you for shore fishing for bass would be to go from late may to late june when they move shallow. Try to find a cove and cast to targets like brush, weeds, rocks, stumps, etc. Use a senko or something weedless and let it fall to the bottom before reeling back in. If you run out of targets to cast to then just cast out and slowly drag it back.

@@BrianandRachael You don't have to wait until late May. If you have free time and want to go, you could actually catch a big one starting now. It's just that there will be more numbers as the water warms in May.

Don't worry Staceymay, I throw everything back. I would have liked to fish back in all the trees but the water was too low. I saw a guy in a float tube catch one back there. I have a feeling they spawn on those tree trunks in about a foot of water.
