You can still salvage the kit, buy brass rods and a pin vise (HLJ has some in case you cant find them locally), drill holes on both ends of the broken joint, cut a piece of the brass rod of the size needed and superglue the joint. Be careful not to use too much and weld the joint to the sockets.

Also, Meli there is another version of Funnsaiki, it's like an expansion set to the real grade Burning Gundam, not a whole lot of articulation it's mostly for display. With all of your experience of making models, do you think you could design one on your own? If you did, which character(s) would you choose? I saw Magic Spoon in a local Walmart and thought about you. I debated about picking up a box but might try to one next time.

Nooo you're assembling the reins wrong. I had the same problem and basically there's a part inside of the white pieces (that should be yellow) where you can attach the reins and it's super sturdy after that. The manual has a little drawing on how to do it

I was there last year, in Yokohama to see Gudam, during the covid restrictions on a visa, trust me it's amazing to visit Gundam Factory.

Meli, both Gundam statues are in Tokyo. Yokohama is the moving Rx-78, in Odaiba is the Unicorn Gundam. So, you CAN see 2.
