Great video! You're a natural and I have no doubt you'll find a nice following here on RUclips. Definitely dig deeper into Ian McShane's filmography, the man is a talented, twisted, legendary character actor.
Thanks, man. I completely forgot how many weird and wonderful films McShane has been in. Coraline, Kung Fu Panda, The John Wick movies, Golden Compass, Jesus of Nazareth, Snow White and the Huntsman….All really fun films with some really great talent behind them (and Hellboy was a thing that happened)
@@sasquatchhohman8241 No matter anyone’s opinion on Cloverfield (and that 10 Lane is arguably better than it but that’s besides the point), Nobody deny how genius the marketing for it is. Even as the found footage medium’s biggest critic (seriously, Found footage is awesome when it’s awesome. Some of them just suck eggs), That still blows my mind to this day
They both have their strengths, especially for people like my siblings who can't stomach found footage. I prefer the kaiju horror of Cloverfield, but the slow burn tension of 10 Cloverfield Lane is also great... until you get to the last few minutes.
@@PlonomIt does kinda depend on my mood on which is better but at least we can all agree on something. They’re both not Paradox. I’m confident in saying that it’s nobody’s favourite Cloverfield movie
Safe Haven from V/H/S 2 was directed by the guy that directed the two Raid films. Some of my favorite action films. The first one very much borrows survival horror elements.
Even though I haven't seen *Man Bites Dog*, I've seen a very similar found footage movie (concept wise) called Behind the Mask (2003). Compared to how Man Bites Dog sounds like, Behind the Mask isn't as tongue in cheek, and by the end it stops being a found footage movie.
@@artthenecromancer404 It was for a while until Chumbawamba bet her out for that record a decade later. They’re both good albums but I always thought When the Pawn was a lot better

Hell yea. Glad to see Cloverfield get some love in your top 10 list.
I'm a big fan of found footage horror. I find it so oddly cozy.

Saying that 10 Lane is better than the original is blasphemous

@@Randomlad.0737 Now that I think of it, I probably should’ve talked about The Rise of Leslie Vernon on here. Dammit…
@@wolvepotter5858 Na, you can do that next year, a part 2 to make more sweet RUclips money.
