We were shown the vibrant frescoes of the historic Gordes church, and as we admired the artistic stone walls and residences, we came to understand that this is a village thriving with artistic promotion. Nice presentation! I prefer my town of a similar name. . Cordes-sur-Ciel. A Bastied about 20 or 30 Km from Albi. 50 Km or so from Toulouse. A wonderful Toulouse art museum in Albi. Likely smaller than Gordes, but you will see why it would be my preference - when I sign off.

Hi 👋🏻 we do film early in the morning usually, and also with many of these small villages, the inhabitants possibly travel to work in the larger towns. Gordes and the surrounding countryside only has a population of 1,600 so it will not be busy like a town or city apart from when the tourists arrive 😉 Thanks for watching this peaceful small village tour ❤️
