I’m retired and looking at apartments in Menton. I just spent 9 days in that area (Antibes, Villefranche, etc.). I need easy access to the train. Edit: I also prefer being close to the sea.

As we walk through the village,the freshness of local vegetables, fruits and fish catches our eyes.🍅🌽🥕🐟 On French market days, there are more sweets and various other products, the energy of the people can be seen in the video footage! The towering poplar trees of the Cucuron Church, mentioned in the video description as a tradition continued by villagers in gratitude to their patron saint, are an impressive 24 meters high, as seen in the footage! Walking through this charming village, we felt there were many historical sights to uncover, such as the chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the Cucuron castle walls, which were said to be built in three phases!🇫🇷☝️💫 We wish Michelle and Charlie many more peaceful days ahead.🎵💟 Yosh and Iku

Just discovered your site and love it. I don't have a vblogger in France and happy to add you to my list of bloggers. I love France and especially Provence, having returned home to the States from Aix en Provence a week ago. I got to see a good bit of the western region of greater Provence and look forward to more trips in the future. I'll certainly add Cucuron to my list of places to visit. One street brought back memories of a similar street in the small village of La Tremblade near La Rochelle where I worked over sixty years ago.

Wonderful video. It reminded me of my trip to Provence many years ago. The video really transported me there. I'm wondering what the sound was that I heard throughout the video, sort of like a chorus of cicadas or rhythmic spurts of water jets from a lawn sprinkler. Just curious.

Hi, was it filmed this summer (2024)? We visited the village in spring but there was under construction everywhere , if all construction were all finished I would like to visit again next week for Tuesday market.

Cucuron is a wonderful village which has a fabulous community atmosphere. It is not one of the better known villages in the area but is busy throughout the year. Not sure about night time, but it certainly was a pleasure to visit during the day. Thanks for watching ❤️

The towering poplar trees of the Cucuron Church, mentioned in the video description as a tradition continued by villagers in gratitude to their patron saint, are an impressive 24 meters high, as seen in the footage!
Walking through this charming village, we felt there were many historical sights to uncover, such as the chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the Cucuron castle walls, which were said to be built in three phases!🇫🇷☝️💫

Just discovered your site and love it. I don't have a vblogger in France and happy to add you to my list of bloggers. I love France and especially Provence, having returned home to the States from Aix en Provence a week ago. I got to see a good bit of the western region of greater Provence and look forward to more trips in the future. I'll certainly add Cucuron to my list of places to visit. One street brought back memories of a similar street in the small village of La Tremblade near La Rochelle where I worked over sixty years ago.

Wonderful video. It reminded me of my trip to Provence many years ago. The video really transported me there. I'm wondering what the sound was that I heard throughout the video, sort of like a chorus of cicadas or rhythmic spurts of water jets from a lawn sprinkler. Just curious.

Cucuron is a wonderful village which has a fabulous community atmosphere. It is not one of the better known villages in the area but is busy throughout the year. Not sure about night time, but it certainly was a pleasure to visit during the day. Thanks for watching ❤️
