Edit: different download now, the issue of not being able to rotate camera is fixed. If the character moves forward and slightly to the right when you press straight up on controller thumb stick, all you have to do is move the box slightly to center it around the movement pad on the bottom left

the right stick that controls the camera isnt working properly. it isnt letting me look around, it only looks around for a very small part and snaps back into the middle
Honestly not sure. I redownloaded the keymap to see but I couldn't recreate your issue. By any chance do you have the right thumb stick bound to multiple buttons?
@@relytistyler maybe I’ll redownload your keymap because I changed the layout a bit and changed the buttons, you might be right!
@@relytistyler i redownloaded it and it started to work. turns out i used the wrong type of button for the right thumbstick. now that i got it working, it isnt using my right thumbstick. it detects it when im picking what button to use for that keycap but it doesnt move the camera around. everythings in the same location and same type of keymap in your template, i just changed the other buttons for fighting and stuff. any solutions?
nevermind it seems to be working now, just gotta import it again.

Sure! I am using the ps5 controller in the video so if you pause it at 0:35 you can see which buttons I use for what (i tried to make the button layout similar to elden ring). Keymapping uses the xbox controller layout so on the screen it will say for example "Button B" instead of the circle button or "Button A" instead of X and "Left Shoulder" is the equivalent to L1. The new updated keymap i have in the description has less buttons and makes it simpler. If you want to add more input buttons all you have to do is open the keymap editor and click into an empty space, then when the options come up where you clicked pick the top one for a button command. Hope this helps :)

hi. im just wondering. i cant seem to interact, despite clicking the button to interact. hence i cant play some stories, for instance the daily quest for today. usually, it works with characters with guns. but now for the daily quest, somehow it doesnt. does anyone have the same issue or is it just me?
do you mean your clicking on the screen with your mouse/trackpad, or with the controller? If its with the controller, some of the talk/interact options are located at different heights on the screen. So unfortunately you'll either have to click it manually with your mouse/trackpad or create multiple keymap buttons at different heights to account for all the options and if you dont know how to create different buttons lmk and id be happy to create a video on it

oh wow, im not sure then sorry. i havent had that issue, i can always click with my trackpad whatever i dont have assigned on the keymap
How do I connect the controller to the iPad?
Unfortunately I don't think theres controller support for ios and android yet
we cant yet and its hard to play this game on ipad
