The best way to regulate the temperatures is by the insulation you use, it is best to use at least 100mm or thicker, we have also installed an aircon that can cool and heat for extra comfort
as an afterthought it would have been better to have the bolts embedded in the centre of drying concrete blocks, once dried bottom wood of frame gets marked to fit and holes drilled to allow completed frame to fit over and bolted on
Hi Andre it's looking beautiful, still looking for land, it's so expensive here, I will not let go of my little home, it's going to be fabulous when it's done, I would love a bay window, in mine too, it's so english please
It took the brick layers 2 days to do the base and wall reinforcements, better option than poles or bricks for me, left to cure for a few days then did the floor concrete left to cure, walls up in a day, build completed in a week, finishes and electrical and plumbing to overlap, should be able to have everything done in 3 - 4 weeks if equipment, labor, plum and elect has been properly managed, and which finishes is needed
Have you build a house in Hermanus area, I know someone there who wants to have a look at your work and discus pricing, etc. with you. Are all your materials SABS approved. I looked at your video on the wooden framework and am concerned about the wood used as it does not look too good. Is the wood treated and approved for dry rot, termites, water rot, etc ? Thanks & vriendelike groete.
i can tell that the wood is treated pine which is typically used for house framing. however they did a poor job in this video, particularly around the doors and windows
Andrè please I need help. Had contractor that build me rooms for my staff and left me sort of in lurch. I am using their staff to finish. I can not find the weber fibre reinforced for eps base coat to finish outside.
can even be called a bachelors flat, it is a open plan, bathroom is closed off but there is a small kitchen and bedroom. We just call it a studio to make it easier for the kids
Very nice!!!

Have you tried Build It, Builders Warehouse or Brights?
Is there a way to pay off
most companies require at least a 50 - 60 percent upfront payment part payment when at roof height and balance on completion
