  • This is what happens when you don't feed them for 2 days. They go buck wild for a cube of freeze dried tubifex worms.

    My 2nd favorite fish! My favorite are the Celestial Pearl Danios. I have 6 of these with 15 CPDs in a 46 bowfront planted and they surprisingly get together great.

    I like how the cardinal tetras just stay out of the way,hope for a few missed scraps the center of that mob is just a little to crazy for a little fish to try to throw his weight around

    One of the most popular ornamental fish species in international trade, the Denison barb (Puntius denisonii) is an endangered and endemic fish of the Western Ghats, India. It is easy to see why this species has been in such demand, with its attractive colouration of silvery scales across the body, silvery-blue fins and bluish tail with black and yellow tips.

    I picked up 3 a week ago,went back to the aquarium store and bought the last two today...17 bucks a crack,i say you got a good deal sombody wasn't sure about the fish and they were probably small juveniles.The place i go to has big (5in)mature ones in several display tanks that's what caught my eye,they had 7 little guys in stock for sale so i bit the bullet picked up 3 and because of cost i wanted to see how they fared,so far so good so went back & picked up the last pair

    can these be kept with oscars?

    • @lumpy1space2princess
      @lumpy1space2princess 8 лет назад

      I wouldn't recommend it. Oscars have really big mouths. I mean maybe it will be okay as long as there is plenty of space, and the Roselines are fully grown.
      You could try some of the larger Rainbowfish species, Really colorful.
      I saw Congo Tetra with a Green Terror once.
      Silver Dollars and Tinfoil barbs work for sure.

      Liam Ackermann No they'll eat your Oscar and copulate with it producing weird offspring. They're a wily bunch.
