    Thanks for sharing again, and have a great day!

    The first electronic repair I ever did was a power converter like this. It put out the required voltage but the power light on the device, a Klipsch Room Groove, was flickering on and off. I saw bulging capacitors, changed them, and that fixed it. I know nothing about electronics, by the way, but this convinced me to learn!

    Nice work.
    Wish I could fix my 12v 1a adapter. But the whole thing is sealed, with nothing to indicate how the unit can be opened.

    • @dennischarles68
      @dennischarles68 11 месяцев назад +3

      You are right ✌🏼
      Some need to be pry opened. Use a blade to cut open. You got to be very careful. Don't damage the inside components ot cut your fingers.
      After doing it glue it up using epoxy resin or elephant 🐘 glue.
      All the best 😁✌🏼🤝🏼👍

I don’t know if you realize but something in your shop is making a really high frequency pitch and it’s recorded by your camera which made the second part of the video really hard to listen to. This probably doesn’t bother most people but I would assume it might annoy esp. younger ears. Just an fyi

    I have an adaptor output DC9v-200mA. My 2 multimeters tell me 18.5v output. I have a max power supply which I can output up to 30watts. But I can also get a voltage reading from different devices like a 9v battery or the 15 battery. But when I connect the adaptor to my electrical outlet, I get no reading. Any suggestions mwhat might be happening..

    I have a Sony KDL-32BX300 and it has no TCON board as far as i can see and based on my research. The problem I am having with this TV is that black/blank screens appear washed out/greyed out and I notice a very faint horizontal green streak across the screen when certain images are displayed. What could be causing this and what component(s) would need to be replaced in order to fix this problem? Keep in mind that I'm not a technician so I don't know how to test boards and whatnot.

    I found out that the heatsink from a other component was SURROUNDING two capacitors that have become swollen from all the heat getting dumped around them, which caused them to dry out, causing the device to fail sooner....
    And the manufacturer KNOWS this...
