you know what i find disturbing? knowing the criminal at the begning of the episode. i woulda blurred the criminals face to make us try and guess it. but other thqan that, i really LOVE these episodes
Ok, so in season 1 Ned is a geeky guy who works for her dad, and season 2 Ned is a hot guy working at the DA's office? Of course, back then I don't think I knew who Rick Springfield was, but this was fun to watch! Different George than season 1 also. What's up with all that?
The producers and directors of the ND and HB tv series are not allowed to show in television the actual stories in the books. Maybe they decided to do away with some of the characters in the books because of this.
First of All, We see the reason the show didn't last and second, perfect freaks. The show is during a time when Television had hard times getting people and cast. George in the book has Brunette hair and tom boy look, not short brunette as in the newest Nancy Drew books.
Copyright issues and so forth must be a big deal to the creators of the ND and HB books, judging by the way the characters are portrayed in the tv series. Otherwise, the directors/producers of both shows would have maintained the characters and stories as shown in the actual books.
The producers of Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys TV series are not allowed to duplicate the actual story in the books because it is part of the conditions laid out by the creators of Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books based on an article I have read. I guess that is why in the television series George and Bess are not shown together and so forth.
@katahdinlover2 but he IS a lot hotter. but I get where you are coming from.. he seems just a little TOO rude and snobby.. they should've made him a little nicer.. then he'd be perfect =O well at leas he isn't as much of a wuss as the other ned (from the diamond triangle)
