Superiorly Built. Because It’s Not Called Sorta Special Forces. This large folding tactical knife answers the call with a big deep-bellied spear-point blade that cuts through anything. AutoLAWKS™ safety and a dual hilt blade guard round out the features. This is a knife that’s as specialized as those who use it.
Designed by legendary knifemaker Harold “Kit” Carson of Vine Grove, KY the M21™-14SFG offers a combination of Carson Series features requested by military procurement specialists. Being a retired Sgt. Major, Kit was happy to oblige.
This specialty knife features a beast of a blade. Crafted from high carbon stainless steel with our exclusive, patented, Veff Serrations™, it’s ideal for cutting rope and fibrous materials dispatching obstacles moments after it’s opened. Add to that a black titanium nitride coating for maximum corrosion resistance, and you’re good to go through anything.
A rarity in Special Forces knives, the M21™-14SFG also features a dual hilt blade guard to keep you safe during sustained heavy use. The patented AutoLAWKS™ innovation turns the folder into a virtual fixed blade by setting a safety pin against the locking liner. After all, if you can’t protect yourself first you can’t take care of anyone else later. When you’re ready for action just put a thumb on the Carson Flipper, flick your wrist and the blade deploys quickly. To close the knife, simply pull the AutoLAWKS™ red pin back, slide the locking liner over, and close the knife.
You work in all conditions and so should your handle. That’s why we crafted it with an InterFrame build with stainless steel liners and G10 scales. They give you lightweight, unparalleled grip and strength, and also keep your hands cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The more you use it, the more you realize how dialed in this mission ready knife is.
Reach for a Special Forces blade where the only thing special about it is…pretty much everything.
    U.S. Patent Nos. 5,596,808, 7,437,822 and D559,939
    Also available:
    M21™-14SF with Triple Point™ Serrations (M21-14SF)

I have a unique attachment with this knife. I was able to save me and my girlfriend at the time from getting robbed with this knife. Now I never go anywhere without a knife. Never. R.I.P Kit Carson.

I loved mine at first but the I used it to cut plastic cord and the serrated part of the knife was totally warped and bent

Took this with me on my last 3 deployments. Hasn’t failed me since. I do have some more expansive knives, but I keep coming back to this one. For a sub $100 knife or when it comes up on sale, you can’t go wrong.

I would LOVE one of these in D2 , A2, or Sleipner steel. CPM3V would be amazing or even M4.

Long after the blade is dull the serrations will still be sharp enough to cut.

I predict that the guy on this video will one day design his own knife and have a Chinese company manufacture it.

I noticed that in this video you did not mention what the blade is made out of. For the life of me I can't believe this is not American steel! Also why did you go from Japanese Aus 8 steel like in other M21 models to Chinese 8Cr14MoV steel? SMH!

Ugh, those serrations. I'd throw my money at this in an instant with that nice, sturdy design if it wasn't for the serrations. I know those can have uses in certain situations but they usually just get in the way if you're carrying it around for everyday use sort of stuff.

I think they have a version that has no serrations ... I think it can be made on their website...

We do have other versions of the M21 without serrations but it will have some different materials and a slightly different design. You are welcome to take a look and see if any of these other options work for you. You can find them on www.crkt.com and using the search bar type in M21

This is hands down the best and sharpest knife I've ever owned. I have owned 4 CRKT knives and the only reason I've ever had to get a new one is because I've lost them. But this knife is even better than this video says. With the four clip positions and extra nub on the back of the blade, you can pull the knife out of your pocket and open it at the same time. It's a tactical knife after all, and I use mine for self defense more than anything else. The quickness of the draw in conjunction with the blocking technique I've developed definitely makes sure I shred any fist that comes near me. Gotta love the 4 inch blade.

Very very nice knives. Some of the best out there and the price can’t be beat. I’ve purchased several on eBay either new, or like new, for a fraction of what they sell for anywhere else. These are legitimate duty knives. Top tier folding fighting knives.
