He clearly used autotune but its intended for effects
He did use auto tune I think
@@MHK124 Just a little bit compared to other singers/rappers
Jo Darlington stfu
Neither does Freddie Mercury need autotune . I guess someone here knows the legend Freddie
This song needs to be in the next gta
Yes!!!!!

Jonah Allton ikr
I was teenager in the 80.s this song makes me think of that time .was a great era
What is your age now?? ❓
@Norwegian Frida was not asking you was asking indigolady indigo
Please don't stop making music like this, even if it is not appreciated by the grammys yet... Time will come..
"the city's cold and empty no ones around to judge me"
my city now during quarantine
Isn't it Sin City's cold and empty? 🧐
jagcf both of you are right, he sang “sin city” in the first half and “the city” in the seconf
@@Daanmytime Okay I see , Sin City refers to Las Vegas, which is the place where the video is taken place ^^
Sin city*
@@jagcf indeed sin city is empty.
His artistry is basically perfect. Fashion style, vocals, visuals, dancing. He's a true master of his craft.
Dancing?
what artistry? He just took back the 90s or 80s or whatever style
Ethanael Oops Ok boomer
cherry bomb what do fashion and dancing have to do with musical ability
@@iLLBiLLsRoastBeats I never said that, but all those statements are part of his legacy.
Literally no one:
Cameraman: ROTATE .
_aesthetics_
Rotate that sheez
So #RodStewart and #DuranDuran film tactics
😂😂😂
I was rotating my phone again and again to see him.
TBH this joke is getting old 💀
I love the fact that he somehow manages to play terrified and frightened, yet does such an awesome performance
I’m gonna tell my kids this man is the reason we have Saturdays and Sundays
LMAO
lmao

Brilliant - Genius Alex :-)

Jimmy Kimmel: how much 80's do you want in the performance?
The Weeknd: yes
I think the 80's was as Great music era
It looks like people giving like for these template comments, even if they don't make any sense..
@@robert88hun sometimes things dont need to make sense to make it right
@@robert88hun your point is?
@@user-jm6gp2qc8x My point? Kimmel is the host, and he has nothing to do with the vibe of the song or the performance.. but maybe it's just me.. I look for sense where I shouldn't..
All of his music is perfectly in tune with the timeline, this song feels like a beginning of a new decade, new era..
absolutely 👍
Ive not been able to get enough of him. Listening to his music over and over!
He came here straight after making his music video 😂
Anime king I bet he made Heartless and BL videos together
@@ivanpetrov8957 - I'm sure they shot the Vegas scenes in 1 day. but the downtown Los Angeles scenes but have been a different day.
Nah he just wears the same thing everyday

“ the 80’s music is long gone “
The Weeknd: blinding lights 2019
2019*
When was it "long gone"? Briefly in the 90s?
I thing the same but with the dua lipa's new album
No music is ever old. It is always new to ears that have never heard it before.
класс!!!
Look at this man, he no needs autotune, autotune needs him. He is one who can actually sing live ♡
Kevin SG dont Forget about Tyler Joseph
He does use a pitch correction software though...
Yeah if you pay attention they’re using something but still he’s not far away from studio quality guy is great
@@TheLalapopo123 he really doesn't need it, you gotta see his old performances when he would just stand and sing with no voiceovers. Now he's just trying to switch it up and move around so he can't sing at his full potential on stage.
@@orionkenya1 It's also just an artistic choice when they use pitch correction tools, it doesn't mean they're not good singers without it... but he uses it and it's very obvious
The type song you play over and over ...and love it over and over...definitely Blinded by The Weekend!
It's so 80s that the frames had to drop
Kevin .W right! 😂
For those who dislikes this video,y'all blinded by the likes.
