Si tenemos en cuenta que la dirección 10.x.x.x es privada del router ISP, y que en el enlace existente entre el home gateway y el router ISP existe un direccionamiento público, entonces, ¿Cómo es posible que la laptop pueda acceder a la dirección IP privada de un router externo sin haber hecho antes NAT estático en el ISP, es decir, traducir la dirección 10.0.0.254 a una pública, para que así sea posible acceder al servidor externo desde la laptop? Creo que otra solución habría sido con un tunel vpn, pero no estoy seguro. Con el smartphone igual... Haciendo ping a una dirección privada del ISP... Hello, I am facing a problem. My Home Gateway and Central Office are getting the IP addresses from the DNS server properly. But when pinging from the laptop (time 19.42 in this video), the ping is not working. It's showing a 100% packet loss. I appriciate your response.

Awesome video, very helpful. One problem I ran into though is near the end, I cannot access the IoE server using the address www.ioe.org on the Smartphone. However, I can access it on the laptop. I also verified and my smartphone can ping both the IoE server and the DNS server, just for some reason whenever I try accessing my IoE server with the URL instead of the address on the phone it says host name unresolved.

Hello, the DNS is failing, check the DNS IP on PCs and devices and check if the DNS server is very well configured, and verify is PCs are able to reach the DNS server with ping.
@@romeroc24 Thanks for your answer, in fact I couldn't ping it, the request was always timed out. Even though I didn't change any settings, I only turned the DNS Service off then switched it back on again and it worked! :D

really not, but there are a fictitious parameters that you can see using ios commands, but is better on gns3 and is correct in a real lab
