These miniature roses are so nice. I received 2 as gifts last year and planted them outside. They seemed to do well. God bless!

First, you tug them to make sure that they aren't just potted cuttings. They often are. Pull each plant a bit. If they stay, it's a rooted plant.

I have two miniatures outside, in pots, after their first year indoors and they're doing well. they have a good amount of fresh leaves appearing now so I hope they'll flower freely again this year. Hi Ray I am completely new to any form of gardening. I was given a minature rose bush a couple years ago and I'm very excited to see its first bud. It lives outside as lighting is very poor in my home, so I would like some advice on how to keep it healthy especially now we are in the middle of September. Kind regards Sabrina.

Buy a small grow lamp and bulb. Place the plant near but not directly to the window (pick on in the sun and with an outlet nearby). Be sure there is space or a padding between the plant and window because the cold air coming from the window can damage the plant still. Place the lamp at an angle where its facing the plant the same as the sun from the window so it's all from the same direction. Hopefully the added lamp will give the extra boost the baby needs! You can also try some nutrient supplements or a small heating pad on very low. They are a summer blooming plant so they need summer conditions!

Hi, I have 4 potted indoor mini roses and they did excellent for 7 months until they got spider mites. I didn’t catch it soon enough, so now almost every leaf has fallen off each plant except a few unhealthy ones at the top. Is it possible to save them? Will leaves ever grow back and fill the plant back in again? Or will the base of the plant always be bare? Also, a question about pruning: It’s February in middle TN, could I still go ahead and prune them? Would that help them?

I had no luck. I brought one home a month ago. I followed your video as it was the clearest in video.
I recently bought another. Both lost all leaves and blossoms and buds died. The yellow roses turned brown. The red rose the buds drooped.
I only have a west facing window from 2pm.
I cut off the dead everything and it grew 4 inches in a few weeks. I cut it down to 5 leaflet branch originally as I forgot your way to cut. So that plant seems good.
The second plant has lost half its size. All blooms and buds have closed and drooped. Just long leaveless stems mostly green. One plant has life but the otherbtwo seem gone.
They wont do well I expect. No sun until 2pm.
I fertilized the first plant with some 15.30.15 water soluble blue and that it liked. I saw some leaf curl and browning though so I flushed it out with clean water.
Im still unsure about water and type of fertilizer and stremtgh of it. The tag that came with it said to let the dirt dry out but dont let it getvso dry it kills the plant. Well that diesnt tell me much !
