When my truck dies I'm trying to convince my wife to let me have one for my work truck. I work on a farm and I could pull wagons and all kinds of stuff with these trucks. Love them like crazy
Seriously, people go out and buy these trucks and right away they need to find a pond of Mud , or a damn river. But I don't find much on you tube people hauling, or pulling a trailer with heavy equipment. Come on people start using these trucks the right way..

These trucks where made to do stuff like this. Not THAT much water, but they where made to be beat to hell, and put thrue it's passes. I don't disagree that they should be used to haul more then go off road, but that's what they where made for.
+Augie L they have 5 ton dump truck. I hope to start an excavation company in the next 10-15 years and that's on the list so I can tow my equipment a little farther and also not have to rescue dump trucks so often

STUCK WITHOUT A WINCH !!!!! How did you get it out? Next time, let the air pressure out of ALL of your tire to 15 p.s.i. in the fronts and 6 p.s.i. in the rears. This will spread the footprint of your tires out and give you a better traction and floatation in the mud.
These trucks are not that dependable. You can fart the fart the wrong way and they will break down. The old deuce and old 800 series 5tons are better than this shit

Took a ride on a 5-ton in Harpers Ferry - towing a bunch of us + big trailer up a crazy steep hill - no problem. Perfect use!
And now you'll need a recovery truck to save it
