Use cat or dog milk replacement. And depending on it's age, for awhile it every 3 and a half to 4 hours. Be sure that the formula is room temperature and the raccoon feels pretty warm. I use hot water bottles to keep mine warm. If you don't have a little of them, use McDonald's beeny babies (cats, dogs or hippos)
I have a baby raccoon that I need to find a home for. His eyes are opened. I thought that he was 2wks but he's older. Although still a tiny baby he's older than I thought. I'm actually feeding him a mixture of baby formula diluted with water and condensed milk. It's all I have right now. I rescued him after his mother was killed after a tree was cut down. These people had him and he was not getting the care he needed. He was ice cold and very agitated when i picked him up. I've had him less than 2wks he's already gained weight and he is really thriving. I really need some helpful tips on how to raise this little guy. Because if I can't find him a place I will have to care for him myself. I've rehabilitated birds kittens but never a raccoon. How do I know how old he is? His eyes are opened he poops and pees by himself but I still stimulate him to pee.
I just found one in my yard, I took him/her in and I am trying to nurture it back to health. I would appreciate any advice I can get to help it live, thank you

Their eyes open long before they are 5 to 6 weeks old. It's usually at 2 weeks

How long before they start eating like that? I just found a baby that still has its umbilical cord. I can’t get him to take a bottle.
I wish that there would be a cure found for distemper and rabies. It breaks my heart when they are in the wild, and they catch it, 💔
