Thanks for recording a conversation that happened while I was asleep. For someone who hates subtweeting, he sure is talking a lot of shit behind my back. I have no clue what the fuck he's talking about. I barely know the guy, idk how the hell I hurt him.
😭 I ain’t gone lie glob I watch you and feel like you are very professional and wholesome. All I can say is it would personally bother me greatly if any rumors became substantiated. But such is life sometimes *sigh
u right I watched the video and my problem with the big content creators is they were giving people the chance to be excited they were just leaking stuff and got early access to the game and that’s why I kinda get what the small content creators are saying they can’t show people. Sparkling zero content because they don’t have the game yet and the bigger content creators are just spoiling it and showing all this character gameplay it doesn’t give lesser content creators videos to make about their gameplay if consumers already seen this character game from bigger content creators and then these bigger content creators would be like just be creative and I’m sorry to tell u just being creative doesn’t make u a big or alright content creator back in their time yes now no
This sounds like raw entitlement. Look at Dotodoya for example lmao. He didn’t get DBFZ early, and he had to grind for a WHILE before he popped off. You have to have a personality, you have to be decent enough at the game to be entertaining, you have to be funny, and most importantly, you can’t just fly solo anymore. You need to collab with people who bounce off your energy. Doto pre and post three idiots is a completely different beast in terms of viewership and relevance in the community, but other people have collabed with both dino and Deion and haven’t popped off the way Doto did. It’s because his energy resonated with the people he collabed with, they didn’t just collab because “haha funny RUclips number”. If all you care about is “making it” so to speak, you’re not gonna make it unless you really know what the fuck you’re doing. If you’re just an average Joe doing this shit, you have to love what you’re doing and be willing to do it for zero dollars and exposure. That’s how you build authenticity to your name and that’s how you succeed in the RUclips space. None of these content creators are evil monopolies trying to put down every small competing startup. It’s only natural for the people at the top who are a guaranteed brand boost to get benefits from Bandai. For example, do you think a phone reviewer with 5k subs should get free phones just because giant tech channels with millions of subs do? We treat different people with different standards based on their experience, relevance, influence, and their relationship with us. The same goes for companies. Bandai already has a long standing relationship with these CCs, they already know they’re gonna promote the brand efficiently, and they already know how important their impressions on the game are to the overall level of hype in the community. If Dino, Deion and Doto just up and went “yeah sparking zero is ass. We dropping it after a week” what do you think that will do to the overall community sentiment about the game? And conversely, if they went “this is the hypest shit I’ve ever played. Peak incoming”, obviously it will move the community’s feelings around the product in a certain direction. But if some dude with 1k subs started shitting on the game or claimed it was hype, it’s literally nothing. Because they haven’t built that reputation yet. Because they don’t have the same outreach, and because the quality of said outreach is whack due to not building the same trust the larger CCs have with their communities. Most of us have been watching Dino and Deion for nearly a decade. I started watching Doto 1 month after his first upload. Of course my and many others’ opinions won’t be moved the same way by unknownshmuck_xx’s statements as they would by Dino’s. It’s not just how RUclips works, it’s how the entire world works.
@@AzureTears So, basically, the quality of content is not important in the YT space? It's purely about entertainment and character? That's what I got from you. The reason Doto mixed well with Deion and Dino is mainly because without Deion, Doto and Dino wouldn't have collabed. I do agree with you that you can't solo YT, but the problem with that is that you will most definitely not see a small-time creator collab with a big-time creator more times than not. You also have to realize that YT has seriously skyrocketed post 2020, so those creators took that opportunity and skyrocketed because of that. YT and otherwise social media is very much (going to use gamer talk here) luck-based, and not skill-based in terms of succeeding in it. I've seen content creators who are passionate about it and still not "make it" in YT. That should tell you how unreliable taking the YT route for profit is. You might as well learn trading at that point. Purely authenticity doesn't get you to be successful on YT or anywhere else on social media. Do you want examples of authenticity? Search up Solid Rev and see how long he's been doing YT. You need to put up a fake character that engages a young audience. You seriously underestimate how much luck goes into being a content creator online...
@@malekat8539Entertainment is quality. That is what this is--entertainment. And these dudes grinded it out video after video, for hundreds of videos, for years. Getting better, honing their craft, and growing their brand. People who think it's all luck have probably told themselves that about everything else in life, too.
@@malekat8539 Bro never mentioned quality of the content, all he said was you have to be entertaining and have a good personality. You're arguing at a ghost, obviously the content had to be good, but part of that is having a good personality and being entertaining. You're content can be the most professional, well put together videos, but if you aren't resonating with your viewers, you aren't gonna pop off, it's that simple.
mfs starting out need to use their first 100 videos to allow themselves to fail. Too many people want to start doing this shit to "make it" before seeing if this is something they'd even want to do long term.
they gotta understand how this will go long term. its the new, i wanna get rich and famous strat for the younger generation. I made soo many video thru this channel, my other and the first channel. i am now starting to get it.
I have done RUclips for 12 years. Some people never "make it" Then I made 4 videos about DBSZ 7 years after I quit, mostly to prove to myself I can still edit a video. It's not worth it, it's worse than gambling. I nearly took my own life over this crap
People see these big RUclipsrs and think they just got lucky or everything was given to them but Rhyme literally uploaded nonstop daily until just a few months ago for YEARS. You have to grind to get there. Yes there's some channels that had a huge stroke of luck but that is not the case for most people. It's not luck if one of your videos finally blows up after years of grinding.
Its always those who haven't seen the grind that complain about bigger RUclipsrs having access to things they don't. Everyone starts from somewhere. Rhymestyle literally had to build his fanbase up playing suck arena fighters such as J-Stars Vs. But the thing people appreciated about him was his personality and catchphrases. Not to mention he started a group called the Squad who would grow with him. And last but certainly not least he did it without making constant clickbaiting. Which at least 1 person/complainer in this video has been doing since the reveal of Sparking Zero. If we're gonna complain about big youtubers getting the game early then what does that say about me? Lol I've also covered the game extensively. But my channel isn't Dragon Ball adjacent like Rhymestyle and others. You simply have to grind and bring something interesting to the table.
I’m one of those people. I almost always drop off “bigger” creators for more competitive content. Like general creators or “fun” ones that are bigger are good for early coverage. But I’m a competitive freak. I care about tech, high level play, and tournament footage. Take that as y’all will.
I’m literally saying this shit out loud right now. I’m so glad you typed this. Nigga if I like your content and your perspective, Imma come watch your channel even if I’ve seen the video 100 other times from somewhere else, sometimes I be sitting waiting for the RUclipsr I care about to post a video about this shit so I can hear what they think about it because I came for you not just the content you as the person.🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ this is why these niggas that are complaining don’t have strong fanbases because this is the shit you care about you’re cooked and you deserve what you’re getting. The big RUclipsrs you hating on now them niggas had to crawl for that shit, y’all want that shit handed to y’all just cause you drop one good video I bet you I go to their channel they’re not even consistent😂
In regards to early access videos, it’s true what he’s saying, I probably watch a few videos of whatever is at the top of my search and everything else is for the birds and I think that’s most people tbh who just want to watch a video asap without scrolling down a lot to find smaller and niche content creators.
i also gotta defend these big creators.. i literally watched them when they were small and saw how they were able to get into this position.. this is a whole lotta cope for sure
the smaller creators have to learn how it works and take it from there. I myself have been around, prior to this channel since 2013. I seen this and made ton of mistakes. I have a good understanding and will continue to expand it
@@makaisaiyan if yall group up and combined content just like rhyme, seereax, Afro all these other creators have collaborated for years. So when yall make it fun to watch sharing subscribers yall gone get there. Like it’s at the point I wanna make a gaming channel because I’ve been waiting to play this game.
What happened to not spoiling the full game? What happened to Demos for paying customers so you don't have to watch people play it for you? The hype is still there but it's dwindling for now (It'll be back up when it releases) because it's not the same as getting the copy yourself and seeing it from intro to the ending. Definitely cant blame people for being frustrated and irritated
@@ghettolionkingwell here's the problem we are in a different era I feel what you're saying though cuz I remember things like that being a thing and the feeling of getting to see a game and what it was all about for the first time in terms of the ins and outs was great but we don't live in that era anymore information is constant and it's always growing and unfortunately there are people who can't wait that they go as far as to leak things that were supposed to be kept Under Wraps and when the stuff like that happens you then have to consider the damage control so what happens is the source of said product is going to come out with videos and things of that nature to keep the consistency of viewership at a efficient and relative rate but then you also have the big content creators who are going to help facilitate that consistency until the game comes out it's quite literally a domino effect wow it can be frustrating for some people let's be honest they're still going to end up playing the game regardless even if you know what the game entails it's the fact that this is a game people have wanted for so long I guess what I'm trying to say is the end result is still going to be one where most people win if all they really care about is just playing the game and enjoying it
I havent watched the video all the way through yet but just want to say that it doesnt matter if some creator's got content first, whether its fair or not means nothing, its not fair that some people are born smarter, prettier, or more charismatic than me. The only thing that matters is what we can control, which is our attitudes, our personality, and what we personally do. Focus on what you can control not what you cant control
Like dawg I've been seeing people post budokai 3 and tenkaichi clips in my recommends and they've been getting a good 2k views cause of the sparking zero hype. People are too caught up on trying to chase a damn bag than having fun with the game
Well, if its someone livelihood, they have to play by the “rules” and do what the RUclips algorithm wants them to do. Doto talked about it how much he wants to upload street fighter content, but the algorithm pretty much hides it and it shows in the view numbers.
dawg this is essentially people complaining that bigger creators are covering the same topics than them and pulling the majority views because of their already big fanbase 🤦🏾♂️
@@snafu_art This argument is stupid tho, literally no where else in business can a company complain about apple being to big and taking all the people who have an interest in high tech phones. Apple spent years building a brand and identity that attracts people in the first place. RUclips is a business and if you don't approach it like that then you are gonna be disappointed if its something you take seriously. These bigger youtubers get their chances with these companies to get games early because they have built a brand with a large number of people taking interest, bandai essentially sees that as advertisement in itself. If you dont have the reach they are looking for you cant complain when others who do get chances you don't thats just not how business works. What brings people consistently to a channel can vary but the biggest factor is personality. All these big youtubers have built a personality that people resonate with, if your content is unable to resonate with people outside of releasing footage for a game that isn't already out, you already lost in that regard. Be entertaining and eventually you will build a following, adapt as needed as the market changes and you will get there. But whining and complaining about how unfair it is doesn't change the reality you are in.
I hate when people complain about this, RUclips has ALWAYS been competitive like this. It's simple Give larger creator content = more content they post = more possible hype/sales. Give smaller creator content = more content they post = less hype/sales and risk mishaps (like a Daima leak)
I agree with these guys why is everyone so pressed about this type of stuff? Everyone has a chance to grow but it's like some people don't wanna put in the work. It shouldn't be their fault you aren't growing, I do admit that YT is luck based and you gotta hope you can even make it on the map in the first place, but that shouldn't discourage you. Remember these guys were small like us back in their day but they worked for it. Why can't we?
One of the main issues I see with smaller creators is that doing it for passion has been lost. Now I do understand that RUclips can be lucrative if you are successful, but what people have to understand is that once you stop doing RUclips as a side project, it becomes a business. This is important to note because running a business is not easy, and just like any irl business it requires a lot of luck and knowledge. If you go into RUclips as a job but have no knowledge of how to work a business, the only way you can make it is by luck and constantly grinding. On top of that, you WILL get overtaken and overshadowed by people who know business and know about the importance of upload consistency, promoting on multiple platforms, playing into trends, smart market decisions, etc. If you are doing RUclips for money you have to expect failure, just like any other business.
This video and comment section has taught me a lot that I will be using going forward in my youtube career. I'm glad to have stumbled onto this video. Im gonna grind like so hard.
commenting before i finish watching, but i can see the argument from smaller people thinking "why would anyone watch me when the game comes out if the whole game is already out on RUclips before it even comes out", but not EVERYTHING has been done just because some videos come out. there is some kind of a twist people can put in to stand out.
This is the motivation I needed I make videos for my friends mostly but I wanted to make sparking zero content in October I started stressing after all these gameplay videos came out but there’s so much to make and so much more to do only thing that’s needed is dedication
@JaeExotic glad I could be of some motivation to you bud. Hope everything works out for you. Who knows maybe our paths will cross on this journey during this grind.
@@plastix6041 I hope so it would be nice to make videos with other creators I hope all goes good for you too aswell I took note on nechikages part I just added about 20-40 video ideas to the ones I already have only time will tell good luck bro 💪🏽
Aye for us smaller content creators it’s about us being consistent and being able to make our mistakes, Sparking has infinite possibilities and potential regardless of gameplays getting dropped. Just tap into your creative side, you’re not having a break out off one big video.
I didn't know this space even happened but I feel like the fact that they just gave a whole BIBLE on how to come up is overshadowed and overlooked by the fact that they already came up, we as creators genuinely need to take the help when offered. Genuine advice like this is super rare, the only option is to lock in.
As a small time content creator myself I am sick of these cry babies. I feel like I be the only voice of reason in discord chats and when podcasting. My friends make my head hurt with that nonsense. Crying and bashing big content creators and Sparking Zero before it drops is disgusting work.
As a small creator fam. I'm here an there. Check it. Only reason why I KINDA agree. Small creators work JUST AS HARD feel me? I think he's coming from a perspective of like "look at us too" which I kinda feel. I LOVE DRAGONBALL. ALL OF IT. even the bad. Which is why I feel like bro wrong crashing out. The running response is rhyme, doto, lotus PUT IN THAT WORK! Bottom line. OF COURSE they have the access they have because they EARNED THAT. Big facts. Look. I stream EVERYDAY. For HOURS depending on the game. And has bandai or anyone reached out to me because of it yet? No. And that's okay. There's still work that needs to be done. I say avoid it if you don't wanna see it then make YOUR OWN content when the game drops OR WHATEVER GAME drops. So what if there's already videos an sneak peaks out? You make YOUR OWN path on this platform. You cant hate on anyone who's doing better or getting those raw opportunities because THEY PUT THE WORK IN. Feel me? Not just cause they "big" they put that WORK, LOVE, AND EFFORT IN. You gotta go CRAZY man lmao it don't stop forreal. That's my take tho
I think people are forgetting content can be watched infinitely not everyone gonna wanna watch big creators all the time sometimes people want to see other videos to see other experiences
That’s literally not true. Content cannot be watched infinitely as there is finite time within a day and finite days within someone’s life. Assuming someone has no other responsibilities and can just consume for their entire waking life, that’s only 16-18 hours a day of consumption with there being many creators who upload every day further increasing the content pool that this person has to swim through. Then, on top of that, there is almost no one who uses the platform that much and only consumes videos on one singular subject, so there’s even further competition with people outside of your niche that you can’t calculate or control.
There are 2.49 billion people who use RUclips, content can definitely be watched infinitely. Goku vs Frieza Fight gets uploaded constantly and people (including me) still watch it whenever it pops up in my feed lol. I understand where you're coming from tho
As a small content creator I look at these big creators as motivation. I see these big content creators as human beings just like me who had to grind from the start. It's just like playing sports some make it pro and some don't, but it's all about patience and hard work. I appreciate the Dragon ball community and i'm going to continue to contribute my part of enjoying/playing the games.💯
This was a huge eye-opener seeing how all these content creators are and how they operate. I definitely have an infinite amount of ideas just from growing up playing video games by myself that can be considered great content.
Fire video❤🔥 Came here to see what the drama was but ended up hearing some great things from bigger creators outside of the drama! Motivation is at another level after this!
Wow this is super interesting, and a very cool behind the scenes look on content creation and these anime/DB content creators. Even little stuff like Nano accidentally leaking the GT trailer and how that affected this whole thing. If what Nechi was saying is true, thats really interesting how some people have access and connections that others dont, even as high up as Bandai HR themselves. Crazy
Small content creators are acting like the big ones were always big and are stopping them from growing…the big content creators are nicer than corporations I can say that much…the fact they are even entertaining this conversation says everything
@NegativKreep As a small creator and a person who's played Sparking Meteor since a child and now I'm 32 I would be excited to enter something like this! I'm doing my tournament with my community soon as well just to see how things vibe.
I couldn't get past a lot of this. Idk who tf is yapping to Afro at the start but good lord does he come aggressive for no reason and is also more ego filled than youtubers I watch with over a mili subs and idek who this bozo is. I'm guessing this is Twitter so its just made up problems that don't exist until these people want it to. If im understanding the point of this is to get tips and advice from these creators, why does there feel like theres such hostility towards them....for being successful?? tf? i cant listen to something starting from bad faith when the good intentions of this is to help smaller creators to get advice from the big creators, when in reality, they have no obligation to even do that imo and then idek why there's a discussion in "fairness" when 1. you are on fcking youtube of all platforms and 2. you're dealing with a Bandai product/IP that to me alone says gg its a wrap
People need to focus on themselves. If one person is successful, then it's fine, you'll get there too. Focus on your craft and carve out something unique that no one else has. When you start comparing yourself to others and worrying too much about what they have going on, it's going to kill your drive and make you feel envious. Being successful takes time, dedication, patience, and a level of humility. You will not be successful overnight.
I did not watch the whole video, but i assume the problem is that rhyme got exclusive footage of the game, whereas a smaller creater did not get the same treatment. If this is not correct, just correct me if i am wrong. I honestly was fine that rhyme got the exclusive gameplay because the dude has been grinding for years. If anyone remembered him playing the very first xenoverse game, he never got exclusive gameplay for the game when he was a smaller creator. Would it be nice if smaller creators could get the game early? Yes, but at the same time, we also have to understand it from a companies perspective. Would you rather have a larger creator promoting your game or a smaller creator promoting your game? Which person can give it the most exposure? Well, it would be the larger creator. Not only that, it was better to have somebody big from the dragonball community to play the game earlier than somebody like ign imo. Him, afro, doto, seareax when it comes to dragonball content i go to them. Plus, people are using his footage to hype the community up, and it is not like he is copyright striking people or even tiktok accounts using his gameplay. I dont know. i see things from a different perspective, and i never thought it was an issue. If a smaller creator wants to have benefits, then they should continue grinding and work on their brand so they can get opportunities just like rhyme.
Just throwing an idea out there for folks looking to make Sparking Zero content. Why not start with the custom story mode, then elaborate on it with your own fan-fiction that fleshes out the custom story you just made? I think doing that is definitely outside the box and should be a lot of fun. It'll take more writing, but I feel like the work would def pay off
That's exactly what I'm thinking of doing. And this is coming from a bigger RUclipsr who's been covering the game extensively. Yet I didn't get an early copy lol. I honestly don't see why folks are getting so bent out of shape over bigger channels who do. Not only have they put in the work to get there. But their brands are clearly more DBZ/Bandai Namco adjacent than others.
One word “CHILDISH” all they have to do is be consistent and pay for promotion you will get recognized, the key to being successful is consistency and always remember that it takes money to make money & also personality is the biggest thing of all, people can see who’s in it for money and who’s not.
This smaller vs bigger content creator debacle really pisses me off 😭 like I can't imagine being so spoiled that you think you're just entitled instant success, as though the big names we know about now didn't grind their asses off to get to where they are. We all have a relatively equal chance to make a name for ourselves when Sparking Zero comes out and the top creators are not only supportive but have already shown us how to make it work. Just put in the work and build up your YT personality enough that people want to watch, the views will come after
The mindset that you need to be first or early to get the most success is such a defeater mindset. I get the allure but literally as a content creator YOU ARE YOUR BRAND. Youll maybe get a couple thousands views from people that wanna see it but that doesnt mean your doing good or that the people that viewed your content will continue. You see this all the time on say twitch where a moder might unlock a dlc character early. They get the initial crowd but that crowd IMEDITELY leaves the moment the creator they actually wanna see goes live. People have always hated about review copies or people getting a game early. Theres some grinder right now probably PISSED that these CC got the game early and can head start the grind. If you gonna grow you gonna grow regardless of what other people do. Post your full playthrough regardless bro wtf lol
Everyone wants to be branded like a bunch of cattle, its actually disturbing. Just do what you love, who gives a fuck? Validation is only required when the thing you invest in doesn't validate you back.
@@Dougdimmadingleling I mean they basically say it here a lot of people getting into content creation def do not do it for the love of the game. Like IN THIS CALL theyre talking about optimizing and copying what other people did to grow. Like theres only one them and only one you. Be you and youll grow naturally. Copying someone else is a sure fire way to pigeon hole yourself. Also believing a game is going to be what breaks you is weird behavior. Like even with afro's come up I think he got his biggest jumps in popularity after nuns4 died out completely but let him tell it durning the time nuns4 was gonna be the game that made it break out for him.
I think the point is why don't bigger content creators go out of their way (when they can of course) to give smaller channels some shine instead of being stuck in the same circles gatekeeping bottom line and acting like they aren't knowing how hard the grind is and helping others not have to suffer when all they really need is a little exposure some just don't have social media and I don't blame them. Just because someone says something that sounds right you have to actually take the time to research and see if it's really applicable to the situation at hand but that would take time and people would rather just listen and go along so they don't have to waste time doing research. People hate for no reason they're lost but when something bothers you it's either a complete lie or has some truth. Hopefully this explanation helps some.
Another comment. the dude who was talking shit about shikas because he stopped making content is mad lame. Imagine talking shit about someone for picking up a new hobby that isn’t anime games on RUclips. These are the same people talking about “snakes” and “fake friends” btw. Lmao
Bros be acting like getting the game early is gonna make them blow up but that was never how content creating on youtube even worked. A lot of people when this game come out are going to try to start a channel, a lot. So what happens when the market wasn't saturated and you couldn't win then it gets saturated? Ofcourse the bigger names will get bigger and the smaller will grow based on what they bring but afterwards? Yeah you still small compared to them and wont get their advantages, doesnt mean your brand is dead it means hype riding isnt the reason the bigger youtubers are liked in the first place
For small content creators, I think the big ticket to getting bigger is collaborations and groups. Stop thinking in terms of "oh let me get this content out before the others" because that's fruitless. Connect with other small creators and collab. Reaction to gamelplay together. Do multi-player stuff together. My favorite RUclipsrs are usually a group of friends playing games or watching movies together. Because they love it and like doing it with the group. Vanoss Crew, Three Idiots, RDC, fucking Rett and Link, HarmNone crew, the thing that makes me more likely to watch and enjoy are the group of friends playing games together. Whoever said "cut that shit out" about hating other small creators is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
As an aspiring to be creator, I feel like it should be obvious the sort of space that being a RUclipsr has, it’s competition, and Sparking Zero seems to be what will make or break you, Good Luck to all in the game.
in any space you most figure out how to stand out. usually it comes down to 3 things a person can leverage to increases probability of success. experience, wealth, know the right people, or time. experience allows you to move correctly to increase success chances. wealth allows you to pay people to make up for other areas you lack. knowing the right people can give you exp faster and they can also push you in the right direction. in the world sometimes success comes down to who you know. and time. if a person sacrifice time from other things, they can increase success. whether thats less sleep, not hanging with friends, cutting time spent outside of the craft. anyone has the opportunity to build something if they understand this.
I get both but I can't take Globku's side, the guy literally got mad because fans corrected his misinformed areas about Bleach. And he literally called the community gatekeepers for that, so I can't take that side at all, however some overreactions are not good either.
I'm a Bleach fan and he's right on that one. Most Bleach fans don't even know what "konpaku " means and even than it didn't make sense in the game context cause it means soul and in the game there is 7 of them... Same with other terms like Kikkon move. Not commonly used in Bleach at all Bleach creators got angry for no reason really and began playing experts and saying "he's disrespecting bleach " when he just analysed and explained the game. They are playing cringe gatekeepers absolutely
@@Mira-cchi That's like not understanding what chakra means in Naruto... Dude stop, bleach fandom knows it because we read the manga or watched the manga. And no we were not gatekeepers, we were correcting his misinformation.
Smaller content creators need to focus on just doing it for general love and passion. Not just to make money. People will see right through the facade and itll turn people away. Dont make videos to be famous make videos because you are passionate about it and have a deep NEED to share that passion with others. I myself dont make content but i will be posting vids of recreated scenes and fights. Not to blow up or get famous but bc i want others to share in my experince.
All I gotta say it tutorials and tech videos along with team comps are the best early thing to get online. Info that easily gets a lot of people to watch them so they can get better. And since it’s new you can find some really cool things to showcase
Do they feel like they deserve the benefits of those who put in the work to get where they are?? Do they not realize they need to put in the work to get to that point too?? It seems obvious but people never fail to surprise me.
I’m so glad that all of you guys had such a motivating and supportive discussion around what goes into sponsored content for those who have the chance to get early access to this sort of stuff. Every one of you guys have taken time out of your lives to make media and art that all of us can find a place in. And I think it’s one part of the title “Content Creator” that doesn’t sit right with me. Not to get pretentious or glaze, but AfroSenju is a fucking artist at his editing and is proud to be him. That goes for so many others like Cory, Etika, and other channels I watched over the years. If you’re creating things and think you have it all figured out in your head, then you’ve lost the point in why people build a following and community in their own way. It’s because we appreciate and value their creativity, art, media, voice, and passion. Everyone loves DBZ. Maybe stop defining your life around one thing and actual build a relationship to exploring the way you see things. Then you’ll get an idea of what an artist/producer/editor, actually did to make it to Sparking Zero events.
Sparking zero got the community in shambles right now as a person that’s gonna start making content on this game I’m not upset at them for getting to play the game early and posting footage early its been like this for years its unfair but that’s just what it is.
The fact this is a discussion is ridiculous. I’ve watched a majority of these big creators when they were nobodies / when they were on the grind before they became big creators. I still watch smaller creators grow to this day. Hell I might wanna start and I know it’s gonna be years before I even get my name out there fr fr. But to complain others is gonna take all the views in numbers makes more sense if they were all live streaming. Cuz that’s a legit thing when big streamers get online other streamers don’t because they know their audience will shrink just by the mere presence of a more popular name. Regardless they need to put this hating energy into making more content not … literal hating
U start with passion at a certain point u gotta understand, u either want this to be a passion side hobby or something that u can actually earn some coins from. You don’t get back hours or a day, if there is no incentive besides a passion, you will never get out of 1st base.
@@bleak3920 your goal shouldn’t be that though. Let’s see how good their content with sparking zero comes out because there was no online community really for BT three in 2007 it’s going to rely on who gets the best content online for this game. It’s gonna be who is the best online because everybody’s pretty much gonna be releasing the same kind of for the game online is where it’s gonna be different. That’s where people are gonna stand out in this game.
I think people forget RUclips is not just for info but also for entertainment so u can make content on anything and Get a audience If u have a genuine fun or interesting personality

BRO U CAN MAKE SO MUCH CONTENT OUT THIS GAME PEOPLE ARE CRAZY I GOT SO MUCH IDEAS THAT NOBODY HAS DONE OR PLANNED YET JUST BE CREATIVE AND DONT RELY ON OTHER PEOPLE TO TELL U HOW TO MAKE UR CONTENT
Same!! I have hell ideas for this game. Especially since you’re able to make the computer fight against the computer? That’s endless of content right there already that I used to do by myself that I can now share it with everybody. I used to hold computer tournaments and bet on who would win And do other modes that I created all from using a paper and pencil. You just seriously have to be creative.
@@yeetnessthegreater1298 we most certainly can. Have you never played a video game by yourself and wrote down names on a piece of paper or made like fantasy teams? Have you ever did personal tournaments before? This is all content that you’ve been doing since you’ve been a child and now you could broadcast it and post it. This is how you separate creatives and try hard creators. Some people are just born creative and some people aren’t and will ride the wave off of somebody else.

The fact of the matter is it is what it is content “creation” is a competition. It is gate keeping and honestly everybody ain’t entertaining enough to gain big audiences. I don’t find all big RUclipsrs entertaining and RUclips been dry since 2014
tbh i have a small channel and plan to cover sparking zero and im not even mad that other creators are playing it early. if you wanna make it on yt you gotta form your own lane and nobody else's success should stop yours.
Just stay focus and research about the series/game and its popularity. I didn't even know about Makai Saiyan until RUclips keeps recommending this channel for Bleach-related gameplay since as fan I'm always looking for the news about the game/anime. Just my opinion as a consumer if you are new content creator, the new Bleach game is also an opportunity. If you're not familiar with Bleach and you're reacting to character trailers, fans tends to ignore that, but when that game releases and you play the story mode which follows the manga, that one could potentially get attention giving a chance to grow the channel
I feel like these small creators are mostly in it for exclusive content, early access to the game, and the money. They think they could be the bext big thing without realizing that the top content creators didn't start out with Dragon Ball content. I looked at Rhyme's oldest videos and they were all Skyrim video that had decent amount of views because Skyrim was popular around that time. Once made Dragon Ball content, it didn't gain as many views as his Skyrim content but he kept making more and more videos and those views have gotten bigger. It took him awhile, but he became a big Dragon Ball content creator with some other games he makes videos out of because he likes them. Yugioh is a good example when Master Duel releases and EVERYONE was enjoying the game. He still does, even through Master Duel has dwindled in popularity. Rhyme just made content if stuff he enjoyed. It was bever about the money or the early access to games. Same can be said to other bigger content creators. It's a shame smaller content creators nowadays seem to only be in it to be popular and gifted stuff. That's not what it's all about.
Wanted to weigh in here. I'm not really a fighting content creator at all-I don't play fighting games, I just like Dragon Ball Z-but I did want to talk about the subject because this is something that, as a creator who's starting to transition from small to medium-ish, I want to weigh in on. I can pull anywhere from 700,000 to 1.6 million views a month, so I'm not the biggest, but I get decent numbers relative to my size. I can definitely understand where smaller creators are coming from because, as a creator who really likes to give good information and present content in a meaningful way, being able to do so two weeks in advance is actually pretty big. I think a lot of people don't realize it's not about playing the game-it's about getting good information before the launch to give to players. At least for me, when I have two weeks in advance to really refine what I'm saying and absorb the information from playing, it's easier for me to provide better information to the people watching. In a lot of cases, when smaller creators get the game at the same time as everyone else, their knowledge is significantly lower than someone who got it two weeks earlier, usually the bigger creators. As a result, they rush to try to keep up because they want to grow, as they should be allowed to. Since they feel rushed, a lot of times the information can be wrong. They get overwhelmed and overworked, and they can’t afford editors like bigger creators. They usually have a full-time job outside of RUclips, unlike their bigger counterparts, and it just becomes a mess. Now, I will say I’ve noticed a trend where the majority of bigger creators who get key access early started a long time ago. That's not to undermine their efforts, but RUclips 10 years ago is significantly different from what it is for newer creators who started one or two years ago, who are upset about this. While I’m significantly more connected now and rarely have problems getting keys early, I experienced this firsthand. A creator with 160,000 subs would post here and there, and I would outperform his views by 10 to 20 times a month, posting consistently about a game. I would reach out to a dev team to get a key and get ignored. A week later, I’d look at that guy's channel-someone who hasn’t really been posting, who hasn’t taken posting seriously-and he’d have a key because of the sheer size of his channel. Yes, I exist in the real world, but it doesn’t feel good, especially when you're doing a lot more work and see a lot fewer results. Obviously, this isn’t the case for all small creators, but I will say I do think it's much harder now to grow a brand than it was 10 years ago. Back then, you could clickbait, competition was significantly less stiff, and most people weren’t as knowledgeable. My recommendation to smaller creators who are experiencing this is to interact more with people and network-ideally, reach out to devs and community managers. While a lot of your bigger counterparts will just be handed keys and early access to things, unfortunately, you will have to put the work in to be on equal footing. There are a lot of creator programs that help smaller creators out so they can be on equal footing, but I recommend just being very proactive ahead of time because you are not equal to a bigger creator, even if your content is objectively better. That’s just how RUclips is, which is sad, but yeah. Some people might say that getting early access won’t impact your views, but as someone who went from getting most of my games at the same time as everyone else last year, to this year usually getting games three weeks in advance (due to the work I put in to make that happen), I’ve seen significant growth, way less stress making content, and I’ve been able to present much better information overall. So the impact for me has been pretty noticeable when I got things early, and I don’t think anyone can argue that getting things early doesn’t give you an advantage. Anyway, those are my thoughts on the whole subject. I think everyone should be treated equally-I don’t think that’s a crazy statement. But in the grand scheme, it doesn’t matter because ultimately, bigger creators tend to have way more pull due to their size, so they’re still going to have an advantage
i liked what you said about pulling more views consistently and still get ignored but a bigger creator who gets less can get the game. This imo would be the best of example of content creation being unfair. however its like you said, even if your content is better, you still gotta work harder
If the big RUclipsrs were given that opportunity to have early access content how is that their fault? Ofc it makes it harder for the smaller creators to compete but that’s only if the smaller creators have no identity. If you put love and effort into your work and dive completely in to the content creation scene then I think you’ll be successful fast. I’d love to go for it but I know currently I can’t put my heart into it. Videos are more than speaking about a game or just playing it. You can’t build a RUclips channel on this alone.
@@makaisaiyan right, and a lot of the bigger youtubers have tried to uplift the smaller ones by saying now is the time to make content. Content Ideas for sparking zero such as: Complete walkthrough of story with all what ifs and endings, custom battle tutorial, item metas, character metas/ tier list, straight up goofing around and role playing, pro tips, and tournaments. I'm sure that this game is where community matters the most.
As a small creator, this mfs dumb as hell. Go grind like the rest of us. This isnt about "luck" or "big creators hogging everything" people like Seereax, Lotus Asakura, Doto, Nano, etc. worked their asses off to get where they are. You need a good personality, editing skills, and the DRIVE and love for it to keep pushing. Ive been doing this stuff for 11 years, and i only got my first little jump when I took this year to take it completely seriously and have an upload schedule and practice editing styles. Stuff takes time, complaining wont get you to the top and itll just hurt you if u sit back and whine.
This is whining on an another level holy shit , they succeeded and massively grew their channel and audience to great heights - that's why they get all this early access...
My issue with smaller content creators is that the bigger content creators grind it to get to where they are now it may have not been in the same era as you, but they’ve grind it when you people were probably in the high school in middle school watching them. What makes you think that they don’t deserve special treatment? Grind enough to get to that point. In my honest opinion it just seems like smaller content creators are just completely salty.

The main issue is that is devs gave out copies that have nearly everything, if 60% of the roster was not in this build and they could only play player vs cpu, 90% of the problems in this community is solved. People are upset that most of the game is out there and that they have no chance, this is an issue with over inflation of content more than anything.

So if I understand correctly, smaller creators are jealous that bigger creators are getting all the attention and opportunities. Yeah, not sh!t. I get it’s frustrating to be the little guy, but everyone started out as the little guy. The bigger guys had to grind just as hard, some can argue even harder because some started before ad revenue and sponsorships. Content creation is sink or swim.
Instead of asking good questions to gain more knowledge/experience, they're complaining about big content creators... Every big content Creator was small at some point, they didn't reach the top by complaining all the time, they put in the time and work into their content to reach this point. It's really not that hard to get.
Imma be honest. Most of the smaller creators in the DBZ game community, are small for a reason. Most of their content is unbearable, filled with clickbait, false information, stolen gameplay videos and more. That's why I stick to creators like Globku. People like Janemba8000, Steedoj, SLOplays etc I tried to watch but their content is just crap.

He’s not wrong about Japanese companies like Bandai, and most egregiously, Sega and ATLUS, not really liking Western content creators making content for their games. But using that as justification to hate on creators being dominant for so long is just envy.
I been making content for a little over a year. At least, on this channel. I had other channels previously that I didn’t really take seriously or stay consistent with. It’s slow coming, but that’s nobody’s fault but mine. RUclips’s a big place, who am I to say I deserve similar recognition to guys like Afro who been out here for a MINUTE and have been doing this as a full time job since I was a kid. If I get there, I’ll get there. Till then, they’re doing great work, paving the way and making it easier for future creators.
I just wanna say, after this video, I do not think I'll be watching those guys. They just sound entitled, jealous, and angry because they aren't doing as well as others who've been doing this shit for YEARS, struggling just as bad as them when they first started. They need to struggle to learn how to be at the top and stay there. Asking for handouts and being mad when they aren't given to you is not how you grow.
The whole conversation is stupid. People with larger platforms are walking billboards , of course they will be getting early access and review copies of games before smaller creators. They have industry connections, they have public notoriety. It’s like complaining why a drama school student doesn’t get to be in a movie when a Oscar winning actor is chosen. It’s just two different levels lmao.
I see both points. I’m a small creator but I feel like some people are overreacting LONG TERM wise. Right now I definitely understand why ppl can be mad but after this month like president rose said everyone is on their own. The million dollar question is why would someone watch your videos over the bigger creators? Simple answer: Be different/CREATIVE with your edits and videos invest in a camera show your personality and stream and you HAVE to WORK. Most smaller creators literally quit even after they get traction..I feel like you can even show your personality through editing.. the others are add ons. Yes it’s annoying that they got it earlier but it’s not really the fact that they got it early, it’s the fact that they got it 3 weeks earlier rather than 2-3 days.

3 weeks earlier 😭. Ironically Sparking Zero would be the only game that created this type of controversy. For footage copy-paste, for early trials for some youtubers, for the amount of real life events across the country. With next big game, they gonna be more skeptical, so less events, less people would try the next game, more copyrights for the footage

@@AzureTears
So, basically, the quality of content is not important in the YT space?

Why have we forgotten the real way to make videos? Make what you want because you want to.
Getting popularity has gone to people's heads. I feel like it's coming more from my generation if anything.
I'm saying bro.. yeah u wanna get rich but fuck that bro like if u wanna make videos do it bc u enjoy it .. niggas just be bag chasing
Literally in my channels description lol, but its big facts people are too attached to their sub counts or relevancy nowadays.
You're not wrong, however it's also about gate keeping to a point where small creators can't get big in the same niche.
@@snafu_artmakes sense, but it doesnt seem that terrible from my perspective.
@@snafu_art thats not gate keeping creators dont choose if they get views
@@snafu_artthat’s not gatekeeping. That’s people who just are entitled
It's simple
Give larger creator content = more content they post = more possible hype/sales. Give smaller creator content = more content they post = less hype/sales and risk mishaps (like a Daima leak)
Not always only when money got involved
None of the leaks came from small creators tho in fact all of them came from these huge creators and media publishers
@@Kirby_ate_my_cat exactly sometimes talk to big creators affect things
>Implying a big number means more well rounded or stable
>HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA
What I was getting at was that it was never going to be "Fair" in the first place. This is RUclips, bigger number usually means special treatment.
I appreciate you for posting this as a small content creator myself most of us needed to hear this talk
This video and comment section has taught me a lot that I will be using going forward in my youtube career. I'm glad to have stumbled onto this video. Im gonna grind like so hard.
comments alone are helpful
commenting before i finish watching, but i can see the argument from smaller people thinking "why would anyone watch me when the game comes out if the whole game is already out on RUclips before it even comes out", but not EVERYTHING has been done just because some videos come out. there is some kind of a twist people can put in to stand out.
This is the motivation I needed I make videos for my friends mostly but I wanted to make sparking zero content in October I started stressing after all these gameplay videos came out but there’s so much to make and so much more to do only thing that’s needed is dedication

I think people are forgetting content can be watched infinitely not everyone gonna wanna watch big creators all the time sometimes people want to see other videos to see other experiences
i personally watch smaller creators because i like having convo.
@@makaisaiyan aye, that’s def true too
That’s literally not true.
No. No they don't.

Well said
People need to focus on themselves.
Beautifully put bro 💯
I only recognize rhymes and Afro’s voice
This was a great video. As someone who watches Afro and rhyme, it was actually very inspiring to hear about their journey and their perspectives.
One word “CHILDISH”
all they have to do is be consistent and pay for promotion you will get recognized, the key to being successful is consistency and always remember that it takes money to make money & also personality is the biggest thing of all, people can see who’s in it for money and who’s not.
This shit woulda been gas if everytime someone talkd like it had whos name it was talkn
I was thinking the same thing, a bigger creator would’ve def had it like that😭
@@BtoP_spooky😂
Post your full playthrough regardless bro wtf lol
the people that rely on get something first before everyone else that doesn’t have an established brand fail
Everyone wants to be branded like a bunch of cattle, its actually disturbing. Just do what you love, who gives a fuck? Validation is only required when the thing you invest in doesn't validate you back.
These dudes literally got the DSP mindset. Its WILD

Where did Globku talk?
I'm a Bleach fan and he's right on that one. Most Bleach fans don't even know what "konpaku " means and even than it didn't make sense in the game context cause it means soul and in the game there is 7 of them... Same with other terms like Kikkon move. Not commonly used in Bleach at all
Bleach creators got angry for no reason really and began playing experts and saying "he's disrespecting bleach " when he just analysed and explained the game.

Wow the bigger creators get more views and extra stuff who would’ve thought, whole bunch of entitlement

If you're not familiar with Bleach and you're reacting to character trailers, fans tends to ignore that, but when that game releases and you play the story mode which follows the manga, that one could potentially get attention giving a chance to grow the channel
yea exactly. we got smaller anime games dropping, hxh nen impact and fairy tail 2. im looking at hxh nen impact...
You can’t build a RUclips channel on this alone.
that mention collabs, building together. finding topics either not many covered or original ideas.
Honestly for anyone to feel like they deserve more than what they’ve earned is crazy..
Thanks for posting this fam. I needed to watch this💯
This is whining on an another level holy shit , they succeeded and massively grew their channel and audience to great heights - that's why they get all this early access...
Thats like getting your first job and starting at the bottom and going to complain you're not the supervisor the week after.
U gonna call ssniperwolf "hard work thats grindy" boy makin it sound like the trenches 💀 , thank god there are feet lickers like you
Not all content creators. I've seen content creators grind for over a decade and still not make it. YT is very much luck-based.
They don’t deserve special treatment but it something that is expected
@@malekat8539 like they said in the video it’s not about luck. It’s about how you manipulate the system in your favor they gave multiple corners and ways to manipulate the algorithm.
@@dawn2942buddy it is luck, u know how many yts u don’t even know took your advice they still can’t even break 10k. U don’t just produce content then eventually u get picked up by the algorithm. It’s putting ya name in a lottery every single video you put out.
Actual greed and jealousy. Just do your own thing.
The way I see it get in where you fit in just keep pumping out videos until you get in the algorithm it’s not gonna be quick
Crazyy man went from almost getting rid of the channel to gaining tons of views love to see it👍🏾
this video is straight up peak holy crap this is awesome content
afro: let me get my 1v1 I need a villian fr im dead lmfo
The main issue is that is devs gave out copies that have nearly everything, if 60% of the roster was not in this build and they could only play player vs cpu, 90% of the problems in this community is solved. People are upset that most of the game is out there and that they have no chance, this is an issue with over inflation of content more than anything.
Then they better be fucking mad at the company not the creators? Like if I get an opportunity I’m taking it, any normal person would That’s how it’s always being and always be it’s beneficial to both sides creators the company trusts with not leaking stuff get to gave a taste of the product and the company gets more eyes on that product to sell more copies
@@misha19911they did leak stuff tho, in fact everything was leaked before it was even revealed because of this issue
@@bleak3920 LOL this exact reason is why people said "buu trailer mid lol" it was just as good as the other trailers, all the buu saga characters besides Evil buu, dabura, and babidi, there was zero hype because of all of the gameplay floating around, stuff like this single handedly ruined a lot of hype for the game, at this point everyone is just waiting for the game to come out and no one really cares about any new info of the game.
Don't be mad at the creators, be mad at the advertisers
Instead of asking good questions to gain more knowledge/experience, they're complaining about big content creators...
Every big content Creator was small at some point, they didn't reach the top by complaining all the time, they put in the time and work into their content to reach this point.
It's really not that hard to get.
This is why they’ll stay small, cause instead of embracing the community they’d rather ruin it.
All the Sparking Zero clickbaiters let me know exactly who I should be watching 😂
@@BluCarnage Damn straight!
One of the people in there, President Rose, does cringe clickbait too
This is the gathering of Dragon Ball RUclipsrs fr fr… would be cool to see a call where everyone from the community hops in once a year, big and small!
I started my channel because of these guys and to this day I’m glad I made the decision💯
Youre looking lowkey for "Everyday Beam Struggle"
@@MrBagelBites I’ve heard of it through Afro and Rhyme but never fully tapped in.
Ofc I don’t see myself being included but for other creators that would be awesome
A prime time example was steedoj he constantly was reuploading everyone’s videos but since he was so on it and constantly posting sz stuff eh still got his views
The reality is some people no matter how much work they put in will be left by the wayside, it's not fair true but unfortunately that's how life works and nothing you ever do or say will change it and even if everyone puts in the same work for the same time the results for each will still be vastly different, does that mean it's corrupt no it doesn't, that's just life
He’s not wrong about Japanese companies like Bandai, and most egregiously, Sega and ATLUS, not really liking Western content creators making content for their games. But using that as justification to hate on creators being dominant for so long is just envy.
They made me wanna become a youtuber and streamer aint no way I needed this it was really motivating 😭 I love it
Tough world, I just wish nobody got access to the game at all and they kept everything a secret til release so everyone could go FFA on the content. 💀
Facts
DOTO FOR PRESIDENT. He has been grinding for years, give him his respect
This is such a defeatist mentality bro I can’t get behind this lol
I see both points. I’m a small creator but I feel like some people are overreacting LONG TERM wise. Right now I definitely understand why ppl can be mad but after this month like president rose said everyone is on their own. The million dollar question is why would someone watch your videos over the bigger creators? Simple answer: Be different/CREATIVE with your edits and videos invest in a camera show your personality and stream and you HAVE to WORK. Most smaller creators literally quit even after they get traction..I feel like you can even show your personality through editing.. the others are add ons. Yes it’s annoying that they got it earlier but it’s not really the fact that they got it early, it’s the fact that they got it 3 weeks earlier rather than 2-3 days.
facts. I’ve been keeping up with you’re content and you’ve been doing this and getting views with a game like xenoverse 2😭💀I think you will make it and I wish you luck💯🙏🏾
rhymestyle and afro said it best. yhou are depending on someone no matter what. either a person, a company, or an event.
@@makaisaiyan yes. I will agree with that to an extent but you have to depend on yourself too. Look at markiplier or coryxkenshin. Both grew off fnaf but people like their personalities so much that they have an established fan base no matter what and they collabed with others later on.
@@DmoYuKushoI feel like sometimes you don't need to have a really big personality to draw people in. Just be a little different. My biggest example of this is TheRadBrad
