I have had success putting tomato seeds on a strip of toilet tissue, the kind that is safe for septic systems and breaks down. I just put the seeds on the strip, let them dry and planted it in the spring. the tp breaks down and the seeds sprout. easy peasy!!

Dang this pc... Hi Gary, I just had to tell you how much I love my (IGA's), Tomato on the vine. I accidently fell into growing them. My sis visited me, brought a couple to me from our store. She told me don't put it in the fridge. So we put it on our book shelf between the kitchen and the L Room. It got shuffled around, out of sight, then when we wanted Tacos, I looked for it. It was so gross looking, as all the seeds in it were pressing against the skin trying to get out. I transplanted them all...I grew 80 tomatoes! Any way, they did so good, every year Id buy one from the store to grow them, Then I learned fermenting. I saved a ton of seeds. I don't have to buy them any more. they are so prolific, I grow more of them than any of my others. I try to grow mostly Heirloom. None of my other toms can grow as many toms as this, so I grow more of these than the others. I love my Heirlooms too, but I like these. PS... I Love your videos! Ive learned a lot from you. TY.

I am starting the classroom series with what I am actually growing. I have a lot of stuff grown but they are prop plants. Right now is great for perennial herbs and flowers.

I took four of them to maybe try and make a cold frame out of. Can you think of any other applications for the garden? They're pretty sturdy 14x16x16 or bigger and have lids. Thanks for any help, we both watch your vids and have your book.

I love the cherry mix I get from Costco (Windham farms). I tried reaching out to them to see what varieties they are, but that is proprietary info. I have had success putting tomato seeds on a strip of toilet tissue, the kind that is safe for septic systems and breaks down. I just put the seeds on the strip, let them dry and planted it in the spring. the tp breaks down and the seeds sprout. easy peasy!!

I would like to get some mini cucumbers seeds that they sell @ the grocery store. Do you sell any of these from your seed shop? The cucumbers are very small we use them in salads.
Dang this pc... Hi Gary, I just had to tell you how much I love my (IGA's), Tomato on the vine. I accidently fell into growing them. My sis visited me, brought a couple to me from our store. She told me don't put it in the fridge. So we put it on our book shelf between the kitchen and the L Room. It got shuffled around, out of sight, then when we wanted Tacos, I looked for it. It was so gross looking, as all the seeds in it were pressing against the skin trying to get out. I transplanted them all...I grew 80 tomatoes! Any way, they did so good, every year Id buy one from the store to grow them, Then I learned fermenting. I saved a ton of seeds. I don't have to buy them any more. they are so prolific, I grow more of them than any of my others. I try to grow mostly Heirloom. None of my other toms can grow as many toms as this, so I grow more of these than the others. I love my Heirlooms too, but I like these. PS... I Love your videos! Ive learned a lot from you. TY.

Recipe for the salad please. Did you make some sort of dressing or is it coated will oil? Looks very yummy.
So I just wing it but mix the veggies first. Add olive oil to lightly coat all and mix. Then add salt, pepper, some onion powder, a bit of red vinegar and apple cider vinegar. Simple and tasty.

Plant those campari tomatoes and let us know how they turn out. It's looks interesting, but it's a hybrid and also is developed for greenhouse growing, so I wonder how it does outside. I'd test it myself, but my grow space is fairly small

I am starting the classroom series with what I am actually growing. I have a lot of stuff grown but they are prop plants. Right now is great for perennial herbs and flowers.
Thanks for sharing this tip Gary!!! During Christmas I noticed my sister had about 15 styrofoam "boxes" that she saved when she gets food shipped to her. I took four of them to maybe try and make a cold frame out of. Can you think of any other applications for the garden? They're pretty sturdy 14x16x16 or bigger and have lids. Thanks for any help, we both watch your vids and have your book.
Thanks for the book support. You might make a seed starting container out of them for transplants. One you can move out during the day and bring in at night. You'd need to make a clear lid of some sort. Saran Wrap works. Good luck you 2 in 2023!

Thats actually a myth. Lots go good seeds. Some are to young for mature seeds and others dont have seeds that will every be viable. But most veggies come as they are without being zapped.

I love the cherry mix I get from Costco (Windham farms). I tried reaching out to them to see what varieties they are, but that is proprietary info. I may do this for the green variety since I already have the black cherry, yellow pear, sun gold, and sweet 100.
Any recommendations for a disease resistant green cherry?
