Giselle Act 2 - Sofia Aidalee Serrano

Performed with Next Generation Ballet at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, FL. In Act 2 we see Giselle become one of the Wilis, the spirits of young women who have died of a broken heart and who now haunt the forest and force men to dance till they die from exhaustion. Giselle refuses to abandon Albrecht who is devastated over her death, and she dances with him until sunrise so that he survives the Wilis. Giselle then returns to her grave and Albrecht is alone a with his regret.
