Honey, that's STEVIE WONDER on the harmonica...and yes, this is a bonafide 80s classic...this song was EVERYWHERE around 1984-85, in the clubs, at the parties and definitely on the dance floors...this was a true b-boy classic breakdancing cut, and this video also uses Turbo, Ozone and other dancers from the popular Breakin' movies from 1984 as well...and that's Melle Mel that you hear performing the "let me rock you, Chaka Khan" rap in the song...this is one of the earliest songs that bridged r&b and hiphop together in the 80s....you definitely need to watch some more Chaka Khan videos!

Let me add to that point, some more info. This song was written by Prince and was on his very first album. They revamped it for Chaka to sing for the Breakin' soundtrack. It really was that song.....because of how popular the movie was. It was the "Save the Last Dance" and "Step Up" before they were an idea.

This is actually a remake of Prince's "I feel for you" from his 1st album in 1979. The harmonica is Stevie Wonder and the "say yeahhh" sample is a 12 year old Stevie Wonder from his 1st single "Fingertips". Check out Prince's original but this one is better to me.

She truly is. I've been a fan since she started (with Rufus) in the early 70's and she is one of the best ever. I love her voice, her ability to survive for 40 years in the music business and her philanthropy - trying to help the less fortunate among us. One of the truely great female vocalists from back in the day still going strong. She was one of Aretha's favorites - nuff said.

This is a classic. Ms. Khan is in my top 5 female vocalists. Stevie Wonder is on harmonica. This song is originally by the artist “Prince Rodgers Nelson.” Rest in Paradise for all eternity. He left us with a great resume of music to admire. Stevie Wonder wrote “Tell me something good” for Rufus featuring Chaka Khan. Rufus, is the band she started with before departing on her own. Main male dancer in this video is Shabadoo Quinones, who danced on the infamous TV Show “Soul Train.” I went to see her & Rufus perform at “The Orange Bowl” in Miami, Florida. I sat in the middle of the stadium. At one point, she put the microphone down, and started singing without it. The range of her vocals are incredible!!! This woman is “pretty and amazing.”

Hi India ! Chaka Khan is my favorite artist of ALL TIMES . Incredible voice I think if you hear more from her she might be your favorite too. Fun facts about I feel for you : yes thats a harmonica being played - and played by Stevie Wonder as well as a sample of Srevie's voice. Prince wrote the song and did it first but Chaka killed it and made it her own. Classic Chaka you must hear ":Ain't Nobody" "Tell me something good" " Threw the fire" and "I'm every woman". That last one might sound familiar because Whitney Huston covered it and its hard to say who did it best I like both, Some others to check out "Never miss the water" "What cha gonna do for me" "Papilion" "This is my Night" , Thats a lot of somgs and there are many many more. Chaka has had a very long career and its impossible to find a bad Chaka Khan song ...yeah she's that good .

I am almost certain that "Harmonica" is the classic Harmonica patch on the Yahama DX7 synth which just came out around the time this song came out. Everyone was using it. The DX7 and 80's pop went hand in hand.
