The Jedi made a tactical error. Once the front lines were broken and the enemy was starting to come into the fort they should've stayed there. The enemy has to come into the fort via natural choke points (the doorways) that makes managing the enemy easier if you're a Jedi defender. Instead the Jedi decided to go outside the castle and spread their forces thin by taking on the horde head on. Was it brave? Yes. Was it smart? No.
But boy did it look good! :D

I am always amazed at how the ancient soldiers can hit the front lines so easily while being shot at.

As it turns out, 6000 years of technology (god knows how many if you count the JEDI) doesn't change the simple fact that six million enemy troops is still a LOT of enemy troops. 10 to 1 odds is a tall ask, even for masters of the force.
but its not 10 to 1 odds its 100 to 1 odds. 60 thousand vs 6 million is 100 times more LOL
@@ProPandaPlays yes, i know. The implication was that anything GREATER than 10 to 1 would be completely infeasible.
Besides, the jedi didn't do ALL the fighting...
If you don't count the Jedi ("long, long ago") then where do you get "6000 years of technology"? Spartans, romans and Mongols are all from the Iron Age. The oldest of these (as depicted) is the Spartans and they can be traced back less than 3,000 years - just prior to the start of the Iron Age in that part of the world. Just sayin'.
@@smgdfcmfahIt was more referring to the 6000 years or so between the first age of Jedi's earliest lightsaber technology and the modern Star Wars era. (if memory serves.) Also, it's a little bit silly to try to chronologically compare Jedi to Spartans...just sayin'.

Or firing at a 45* angle down the line instead of straight ahead to maximize the carnage.

The strong visual appeal of a warhammer 40k battle (will we ever see a W40K mod?), the absolutely idiotic strategic sense of the Battle of Winterfell vs the Night King.
Imagine that the commander of this great army promised his soldiers that if they take this fortress, they will receive rich booty - gold, slaves, and other valuables. But in fact, they got a heap of ruins and mountains of corpses of their comrades and enemies. If I were the commander of this horde, I would be worried ...

The Jedi could have easily stole a spartan tactic. “In that narrow passage, their numbers will count for nothing”. They should have stayed by the castle entrance. It would have taken hours but the Jedi would have won

it is always the corners in your videos - they need reinforcements. That is where the invaders break through. The more circular the defense, the harder to break, apparently.
Yeah, reinforce the corners or rounding out the element as opposed to right angles would keep the lines from breaking.
Yeah, castle technology teaches that lesson pretty early; extended corners are open to fire from more sides with fewer defenders having to switch targets more often. Soon as I saw that spot in the formation I knew THAT was where it was going to break first.
This was cool! Those frontline Jedi lasted a lot longer than I expected. I wonder if you put the cannons on the Castle so they have a better downward angle if they would be more effective?
Ok here is the thing, modern field artillery, you would not have a modern howitzer that close in! A small howitzer M119 that fires a 105mm shell has a range of 7-8 miles. Get you 3 batteries with six guns each, 10 or so of the Jedi can hand back and play FIST (my old job forward observer) toss in a few rounds of Willy P (white phosphorus) to turn the suck way up, and thats just playing fair sure there are some not so nice gases that a 105 shell can bring in. And I have not even got to the big cannons or the Paladin, the mobile tracked howitzer. Artillery isnt called the King of Battle for nothing!
@@wrenmichael8471 Sure but those are 88s. They were often found close to the front lines as they became more and more about anti-tank and close infantry support weapons. They weren't used as artillery (other than anti aircraft artillery) and were often found in a direct fire support role. You'd still set them back as far as you could to make use of their long range for protection, but you need a line of sight to the front and sometimes that's just not very far if you're not in the desert.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me like the Jedi in the defensive positions outside the walls could have won the thing alone easily if they had gotten the attack order right in the first minute?

Imagine showing up to a battlefield with over six million other people and then walking away with under 100k.
There should have been artillery mounted on the walls, tanks lining the fort from corner to corner, and more Jedi covering the entrances to ensure that no gaps were open.

Speaking as an artilleryman, the artilery would tak out their own people the way they were deployed. The overpressure of the cannon blast would have killed or severely wounded several ranks of soldiers.

The canons and riflemen should have been placed on the ridge with the jedis on the upslope before them. This would have greatly extended the range of both cannon and riflemen and forced the romans etc. to hit the frontlines running uphill. Bad tactical placement of troops.

If they using archers and archers on horse , that battle was end* too fast. Becouse they dont have shild. And archers have chance to kill 1 soldier or jedi with 1 arrow

Yeah, I noped right out of there. I saw Spartans doing coke and hyping themselves up, and I cheered, then snuck out back. Also, this is the perfect chance to do napalm sorties all morning….. Because I love the smell in the morning 😅

2 kiloton tactical nuke- launched just far enough away from the fort so as not to nock the walls down- then BOOM! fight is over. or carpet bombing with napalm artillery- same basic effect. remaining troops are alive? yes. 3rd degree burns all over. their backup behind them? VAPOR. pink dust. I'd like to thank everyone who showed up for this experiment.

The soldiers dont have unlimited ammo so i think the romans will win more easy also the jedi has no shields so they are ligth troops romans are heavy troops

the issue they miss is that killing all those attackers at roughly the same point would create a wall of dead bodies that would stop or slow the attackers

@ 2:21 imagine this shot if it were used for the Battle of Winterfell/or the Dark Night, or the Second Longest Night in GoT. I know itll cost bucketloads of cash, but the story leading up to it deserved a quality shot like this for the show, just to show the magnitude of what theyre facing

First of all, Jedi are not modern army.
Second, a modern day army would have trenches, mines, and other things like barbed wires blocking the way.
Finally, this was Game of Thrones level of bad position...
ps: Much respect for the people that made the Battle Simulator, this level of quality for a simulation with such insane numbers is on another level.
As if millions of voices cried out and were gradually silenced...
