the most beautiful cars in just one video... my favorite cars are from 30's 40s and especially 50s what a fantastic models on this decade, Cadillac 1959, Oldsmobile 1950, Mercury 1949 , BelAir 55 56 57 thank you for this video and sorry for my english, a peruvian friend always on line, GOD bless you
I only have a few M2s, mostly muscle cars. Their 'Auto Drivers' series is probably my favorite series, since they have less moving parts and therefore less chance on something falling off. The red '49 Mercury Coupe, '54 Mercury Sun Valley, '57 Chevy 210 Beauville Station Wagon and the '57 Ford Fairlane 500 are my favorites shown here. M2 seems to have a thing for 50s or 60s cars, so if that's your thing too, M2 is an interesting brand to collect. Thanks for the unboxing!
Cool video, awesome cars . Funny error, no tire , shit happens . Some guys just collect errors. Lots of Hot wheel errors on the pegs . Good show . Mike Espo .
Not a big fan of M2, but some of the cars look really good. Most of the time it's the same old crap sitting on the shelves at Walmart, it's almost like people just collect the chase pieces from it that's it. But it is really cool of you my friend to do all these case openings is good to look at them and I enjoy thank you.
What is good about M2? 1. Different castings (50s cars mainly). 2. Authentic plain civilian models (50s cars and muscle cars). 3. Great detail (lens detail - unlike most other US brands). 4. Modifiable (you can take them apart and sometimes fix errors). 5. Some cool new castings (Silverado, datsun truck, dodge van). 6. Display cases (great for storage). 7. Decent castings (unlike some GL and most JL). 8. Cool trucks including slammed square body. Square body is better than GL. Hopefully they do stock and lifted ones too. What is bad? 1. Limited casting catalogue. Mostly 50s and 60s cars. Missed the boat on where tastes were going and desperately trying to catch up by following the hype. 2. Quality. Too ambitious designs with too many parts (and too many opening parts). That said unlike GL you can screw them apart to fix them often. times. 3. Poor licensing relative to GL. No authentic police cars. 4. Ugly chase cars (but that goes mostly for GL and JL too). 5. Release new castings to death quickly. 6. They seem to have stopped doing the 50s cars (likely due to no new castings, lots of re-releases and 50s cars not being popular). Too bad as a couple 50s or 60s wagons would have been awesome.
Awesome man! Thanks for showing some M2 cars! I don’t really pick up many M2 for my collection either but I do have a couple like the ‘69 Dodge Charger Daytona RAW & ‘67 Chevy Camaro SS RAW both limited to 250 pieces! 🤘🏼🥇✌🏼
I collect some of the M2 most of them are the chase pieces, they are similar to some of the Greenlight green machines except they use gold and red on the wheels and trim.
I don't collect M2 but i pick up some pieces here and there, when they fit my tastes. The main reason i don't collect M2 is mostly because of scale and an overall lack of polish. With a few exceptions, they just feel crude when put next to Autoworld or even Greenlight.
In terms of what I can buy at Walmart, I seem to average buying only one M2 a year vs. two or three Greenlights (note that I can also buy Greenlight at Toys R' Us in Canada) since I generally don't like paying double digits for a single 1:64 scale car* but the M2s come to over $10 Canadian with sales tax (and the Coca-Cola branded M2s are more like $12 or $13 with tax. One thing I do like about M2's is the display cases since I like being able to stack them. Interestingly, the older M2's I have that I bought cheaper from Winners (re: T.J. Maxx in Canada) came with the plinth but not the plastic cube. * Yeah, I know $10 to $13 Canadian per car is still cheap compared to more premium 1:64 brands available only at hobby stores or import, not to mention Hot Wheels RLC club cars, but I can't afford those brands either.
I have all of these cars...all probably sold in the last two years and a lot of them you can find retailing now. I like the syling of the cars from these decades, but you really need to look carefully before you buy an M2 because they can have fit & finish issues, particularly the doors and hoods not closing right. I’ve noticed lately that a lot of the cars in their other product lines have been issued in strange colors and are not particularly attractive.
I ONLY HAVE FOUR M2 1970 auto drivers mustangs two 1968 hemi barracudas and a 57 dodge auto hauler truck. the opening doors with huge gaps and sagging doors, crooked lens details with flash, crooked bumpers grills parts falling off in the box on M2'S premium line are a big draw back, thats why i preffer there cheaper auto drivers series with no opening parts. the body line proportions look a bit off on a lot of there casting much like GL& JL both GL & M2 run a little large in 1/64 were as JL runs small, for the most part with that said GL And JL has the biggest catalog but make the most goofy looking cars and trucks as well with over sized steam roller tires.AW has the best chase program, tho i wasn't a fan of the red and white tire AW chase versions, the other 3 brandsM2/JL/GL have goofy looking chase cars for the most part.THATS WHY IM A CASUAL 1/64 COLLECTOR, if you want accuracy and details you need to step up to the high end 1/18 manufactures diecast you get what you pay for in 1/18.
Classic M2 series, again they are all the same with exception of 3 model cars that I don’t have yet, ( station wagon, 59 Cadillac, and 55 Chevy. I like the trucks and muscle cars the best but still 1/64 scale is very poorly done, crap quality in that a scale most of the time. The M2 1/24 scale is much better. If someone wants to collect 1/64 then go for green light, auto world or a couple other brands, stay away from M2 1/64 or just really take a good look at them before you buy because most of M2 1/64 is crap quality. Most of them roll awful with off center crooked wheels and tires as well

Those are very nice. TY for sharing
I agree. They need to give up on the opening doors. Looks funky. Love the GMC Square bodies. Looking forward to the Gasser set.
Gary Pearsall I am also waiting to see the Gassers .
Some really cool cars!
That green olds 98 is sweet! Also the blue caddy G have that one!
I have the blue Caddy...it huge... it fills the entire GL goose neck flat bed trailer! Hope you're feelin' better!

I have a few boxed M2 models.
One of them (my 54' Chev) had a crooked bonnet (hood* for you lot in the US) and my 71 Cuda had a crooked supercharger.
Missing tire that's M2 for ya details like no other!!!!!
Really like these I think they look amazing.I'm really into this 50's era of cars. Have picked few of these up already.
i only collect m2s daytonas and dodge vans. but the details are top shelf

Very cool m2s

Shawn Stafford 750 pieces
I collect mostly M2 and Greenlight but it disappoints that most vehicles lack side view mirrors.

M2 is pretty cool, don't really have a lot of it but I do like their Detroit muscle series

I once bought an M2 that didn't have any problems ... but it was a ling time ago though.
where can I buy these? I love M2. very hard to find in India. any sites recommended ?
The best I can recommend is befriend a US collector and have him hub for you here.
M2 has a line without opening features it's their drivers series! They're a bit cheaper too!
I have 🚫 M2's. Still fun to see...
