I watched this part of your Video a few days ago then lost it as I'd forgotten to save it! Stupid, I know. So I searched through similar items and found you again this afternoon, thank goodness! This was a good video I've been thinking about stamping my own fabric to make things I have a lot of plain fabrics and need to jazz them up somehow. Love your instructions and all the useful information, some stuff I never would have thought of thanks.

In your video you give the formula "Frame length x 2 plus frame width + 1" (in English measurements). If the modern purse frame I have has 3" legs, do I just input that measurement into your formula? Or can this only be made with the 2.5" length legs period? Thank you so much for your video and for your help. God bless you.

Deborah Johnson hello there . Thanks . I would say that the width of te bag depends on the size of the metal frame you use . For wider bags you can get larger metal frames up to 20" inches or so . I hope this helps . X hugs

Amy Proffitt oh dear ! I said Blackout . Any smooth cotton or poly-cotton fabric will do the work. There is a link to my blog with more info in the video description

Tela Exterior y forro:
Ancho: 10cm +16.5 cm .
Largo: 10cm + 15 cm
Entretela :
Ancho 10cm x7.5cm
Largo: 10cm + 15 cm
Esto es si las patas del marco miden 6 cm .

Does your pattern dimensions also work for the other frames? Meaning, if the frame length is only 1.5" x 3" wide and more rounded, add 6.5" to the width and 6" to the length?

Hi Jill, it is blackout fabric for curtains making. A local fabric store should get it. In the UK I buy from dunelm mill.

what name is the white stamped fabric? I understand it is curtain fabric - what exactly is the type of fabric? Would plain quilting cotton fabric work as well?

jGirl Aldrich lovely it is "blackout lining fabric" . Link underneath the video to check it out . You can use any smooth fabric for stamping . Important get a good interlining fabric to give shape to your purse. You might need to experiment a wee bit and see what works the best for you. And let me know how it goes. Hugs 🤗
Hey.. amazing video! Though you do tell about ink durability, but still is there any pre or post processing of fabric required to make the ink more stable? Something like a a ink fixer process?
Abhishek Sethi hi, thanks for asking . Starch + iron ( to make the textile flat . Completely optional ) It all depend also on the products you use and the fabric ( you might need to try and experiment ) . There are inks and paints specially designed to stamp on fabric also markers . Please check out my other videos about Stampin in fabric . I'm using Papercraft supplies but you can use acrylics paints + fabric medium ( kind of paint fixative ) . I hope that helps .

Thank you Wendy. I use smooth surface fabrics (with not texture) 100% cotton or poly-cotton . medium or heavy weight. To get a better finishing.
Canvas might work but bear in mind that this fabric might have texture so the images won't be so sharp. You can ask for a sample and try it to see how it goes. x hugs Bibi

I have purse frames with a side leg length of 3". Would I be able to alter the pattern by adding to the width or length?
Hi, yes. absolutely, just add an extra 1" inch to both lengths. x
