My brother, surrender to the Holy Spirit and surround yourself with those that will absolutely not compromise the dedication to the truth (the word of God).
What has kept me even when artists fall away is this. God blesses me to take whomever the individual music is and make it truly holy out of my Spirit.
So my brother wherever it is that you are on your journey.
Jesus is the way! No compromise because there are eternal consequences.

Tbh I feel like these people from maverick are no role models to look up to. There's a feeling that they are chasing fame and not GOD.. I like to relate to the music only, not them.
They make wonderful songs. But I wouldn't call it Worship. As most songs are about what they experience in what God does for them. Not what God is for them. That is a big difference. The music is great. That's about it.
@@NcSnoek totally agree! I just hope the young people understand this the way we do. Not like I'm super old... I'm 24, and I'm very cautious about what I feed to my church in terms of songs and music!

@@lucasherald1388 You can listen to songs telling what God did for someone. There's nothing wrong with that. As long as you don't replace your own Worship (not singing a song), with these songs and other 'worship' songs. Hymns and 'Worship' songs are great! But true Worship isn't singing those songs. It's being in your secret place and Worship Him with your spirit and the Holy Spirit. Telling Him how great He is for you and how you are available for His works on this earth. Praying and communing with Him in your secret place is true Worship 🔥
