The hard thing for plat players is trying to keep track of all of the things that are going on during the fight. Paying attention to cooldowns on both sides, positioning of you and your team, and looking at ult charges are all distractions. On top of that, your teammates are expecting heals from you most of the time(sometimes distracting you more by spamming I need healing). This is why you see so much struggle with resource management. You are actively trying to use your brain to make correct decisions and be as effective as possible, but it isn't second nature like it is for master/gm players. Healbotting is a thing that plat players fall back on while they are trying to figure out what they should be doing next, and with Moira you cannot heal bot for very long without running out of resources
Is the matchmaking this bad at the moment to get such a incredibly passive and afraid Rein as a plat 3 support? (Prime example rein standing still during you coalescing he stands behind a wall with a full Shield) I haven't played in 2 weeks, mostly play tank but cba playing atm cous hog is boring af to me so honestly can't remember the matchmaking
I mostly play with a tank-friend who can be to aggressive and overextend sometimes (so I need to call him back) but it is so much better than all the other tanks I'd get without him (we're Plat/Dia). Also he actually looks out for me, so I can be more aggressive. A lot of tanks are either just randomly charging in, don't use cover at all, etc or are an afraid chicken, waiting until the team has no more ressources (maybe try to do something when it's already too late) and then just die (and/or cry "because I have let them die"). Most of them (or at least the ones I see) are the second type. Probably the biggest problems I have are with tanks. So many lost fights because they just run back. Hey dude, I used ult, I'm a massive heal bot (especially with coalescence), just run in and swing. Fortunately enemy tanks are seldom good either and yield against the smallest amount of damage. Also a lot of Dps will be less inclined to do something when their tank holds back. It really doesn't happen a lot to see an actual good tank. I don't know how so many are so afraid of everything and chicken out (or how many of them are in Plat and even Diamond).
Mad respect for ML7, but I do not understand at all what you are trying to achieve with the first 8 minutes. Your advice is for a hypothetical reality. I've edited my comments. You totally confused me with your rambling. You say one thing. Then you say another. You are giving advice on hypothetical scenarios that are not happening in this game. Its a very wierd way to VOD review. When you give advice like that *for 8 min* you suggest Moira might be able to affect change. The reality is that sometimes the support being reviewed has very limited agency to alter a team fight. The outcome are sometimes inevitable. That should be important to say. For advice purposes
the purpose of vod reviews is not to tell someone everything they should have done to win the specific game. the game at hand is a teaching tool, not the central topic of conversation or the actual point of doing the vod review. the game in the replay is over. there is nothing any of us can do to change the games in our replays. what we CAN do is to learn from them so that in future games, we have a better idea of what we want and need to do. there are definitely games where it basically doesn't matter what we do, our team was going to lose due to factors outside of our control. but there ARE games where we can be the influence that tips the scale in our team's favor. vod reviews are supposed to address hypotheticals, they're supposed to look towards the future because those are the games that we CAN affect.
@@sethescope I disagree. A Review is very much geared towards the video being presented. If the aim is to create purely educational content then that is done without specifically reviewing a certain persons gameplay. Think of it this way: IF ML7 was reviewing me and he almost never talks about what Im doing and my choices then Im not getting reviewed, am I ? I've learned to watch Coach Mills when I want to learn about the game. I'll watch ML for the entertainment and to see how well he plays. He no Coach, but its nice that he is trying to help the community.
I see your point but I disagree; I found the hypothetical to be instructive as to potential alternate positioning. Granted, I don’t often watch VOD reviews.

Yes they are done live.
Your advice is incredibly helpful but when you suggested that Moira suck off Rein; I was rolling. 🤣
Wait what's wrong with it🤔
@@Ally.076 The wording is sexually suggestive
