I got this 2 weeks ago, the 17l (I'm 5'9'', 79kg), this is perfect for me. The organization and materials are not over-engineered, all the pockets are intuitive (at least for me), lightweight, and very clean looking for a weekender or an office setting. I hope they will make a 30-40l travel pack I don't have pets so no pet hair issue. finally, my previous bags were tumi, able carry plus, and thule enroute 20l. The moment is my favorite and it's all down to the intuitive organization for me. The first time I move my stuff from the tumi, every thing just fell into their places perfectly. Really well-thought out. Literally a daypack I have been waiting for.
Glad it’s working out so well for you! Definitely a big fan of this backpack, so simple and intuitive like you described. Still in the rotation for me years later!
I agree with Alfonso, but the washed out log look of the videos are a bit distracting to me. I screen recorded 3 seconds of this video and had my iPhone’s photo app do an automatic adjustment and in my opinion it looks way better. Colors pop and it gave a more warm feeling to the content.
Does the backpack fit big on you or is it a good size for your height (what’s your height?), already backed it on Kickstarter but want to know what size to get
I haven’t actually, I see myself using this much more as an edc type of bag instead of a travel bag, but it would definitely work for both with the more simple design of the main compartment.
very nice and minimalist bag. But I think WANDRD DUO Daypack will remain a benchmark for a long time, my backpack for the daily basis and the daily excursions 😌
I LOVE moment products, but I think I’m going to have to do a hard pass on this! The prices of these bags and accessories are crazy. I purchased their camera sling and I do LOVE it, but these new bags don’t seem that special and the prices seem high. They selling their tech pouch for the same price as the peak design tech pouch? And their bags just seem overpriced for what they are. For that, I will get an actual Jansport! 😂 I LOVE moment and I will continue to shop from them, but definitely not getting anything from this new line.
That Moment travel bag seems completely basic to me. It has three large sections: one in front, the body, and one for the laptop. There are no organizing pockets which is probably why the packing cubes are needed. There are countless bags that are this basic, which makes me think the Moment bag should cost under $100. (You can argue that the materials are expensive but they're not that costly. Even Dyneema is available at retail for less than $15/yard.) And, if anyone is considering a tech accessories (cables, plugs) bag over $60, they should look at all the excellent toiletry bags that provide the same functionality for 1/3 the price.
I didn’t do that good of a job showing it (difficult camera angles) but there is a decent amount of organization for being such a simple bag. $100 price point would be awesome, but speaking from my own experiences with bags in that price range this is a noticeable difference in quality from this. It’s all about which bag is best for you though, every bag will suit someone different, I’m sure you’ll stumble on something that’s a better fit for you soon. 👍

I’m a minimalist traveler, and this looks delightful to me, I think I could fit in what I need there.
Glad to hear it! Still love this bag and would definitely recommend it if it fits your needs.
Wow. Ok. The british shorthair made me a subscriber.

It’s fits really well on my back as a small/average bag with the 21L. I’d say go with 17 if you have a small frame or 21 with a larger frame. 👍👍
Have you tried packing it out with packing cubes yet?

I still need to check out some WANDRD bags, I hear nothing but good things!
Great video! Is that the 17L or 21L bag featured?
The 21L 👍
Here from your 2017 Solar Eclipse Portland video :)
That’s awesome!

I can appreciate that, you’ve gotta do you!

this bag is prefect for you
Yeah there’s something about this one that I really love! Nice and simple, great size for an edc bag, very understated. Took me by surprise!
