    Thanks Molly! I just applied to my first festival and you had JUST the right energy and information I needed to feel excited for it. Thank you for being so vulnerable and generous. I have really loved this new adventure and I think it's time to get my art in front of people. You've given me such confidence. Best of luck and maybe we'll see each other at a future show!

    Thank You Molly! I have been thinking about this. Your video gives a realistic outline, and that’s very important. I now know that I am not going to be ready by this summer... but I will attend several shows and aim for the next summer. Have a great day.

    Molly thanks so much. BUT I couldn’t take my eyes off the painting over your couch, please tell me you made a video of painting it. Ok I feel better after watching both art show videos and I’ll watch them a few times more. My husband will be busy making my pro panels but he supports me 100% and he likes your (that girl from south Florida) videos. Thumbs up Molly you have really helped me.

    what does it mean to have mesh, carpeted or wired panels?

  • @marysueschier6986
    @marysueschier6986 5 лет назад

    Molly - a quick question. What is the foil looking packing that you have your paintings wrapped in. I have been wrapping mine in packing paper and (I thought) packing them carefully but my heart broke when I found that 2 of my paintings were damaged during packing, transport and unpacking for my show. I'm looking for a better way. Thanks for your help and shared knowledge ... it means so much to me.

    • @MOLLYSARTISTRY
      @MOLLYSARTISTRY  5 лет назад +1

      That has happened to me before too and it's terrible! I use foil lined bubble wrap and it is thick and great for transport. It's in my amazon shop that is linked below the video. The one I got was over 100 feet long and 4 feet wide. It was 126 dollars I think, but comes in 4 huge rolls and covered all of my artwork. It was totally worth the buy and the buyer can use it to take the painting home when sold. I use it as well when I am mailing out large paintings. When mailing them out I would make sure as well that you cover with paper, then the bubble wrap to protect the surface. For shows I dont add the paper because they are not in the package too long. Hope this helps!

      not for that one specifically, its a 2ft x 4ft piece, but i did this smaller one the same way!

    Thanks for the great info. I am in Florida and I need to figure out the sales tax deal. Do you have to have a company set up?

    • @MOLLYSARTISTRY
      @MOLLYSARTISTRY  5 лет назад

      No, you do not have to have a company, you can pay show by show. But I would recommend applying for and getting your company so that you can get your appropriate tax breaks, write offs, and everything will be documented. It has been a long haul of getting everything set up. Hope it is worth it on the end lol. Where in fl if you dont mind me asking?

    Molly, I know this video was a long time ago for you, but I so appreciate it. I am waiting to hear if I am accepted into Artigras as emerging artist. I live in St. Pete, FL, my son is a senior at FAU. I am excited and afraid. I appreciate all these tips, because I have no idea what I am doing in this area. Would you be willing to talk with me/mentor me a bit in this area? Through the A-Z course all 3 of you helped me get "all in" with my art. I have so many questions. I appreciate any feedback you are willing to share.. Thank you again, I am sure I will watch several times. Kelly
