Hi Johnathan, thank you very much for your new blender video tutorials, they're great! I'm doing some clay printing of my own this week, so its perfectly timed..!

Thanks for publishing your blender tutorials. Before this series, I felt intimidated by Blender, but you have made it very easy and accessible for me.

Hi Jonathan, I'm quite late to these videos but I'm finding them really helpful! How do you close up one side of the vase? e.g. if I want it to be a vase or a plant pot, it needs a base but no "lid". How do you do that?

At 6:48 when you increase/decrease the influence of the scale, what are you pressing to do that? I really like your videos, thanks for sharing.

Apologies for my slow reply to your question - I'm rolling the mouse wheel to change the influence of the scale. Having pressed S for scale and with Proportional Editing switched on the circle of influence is changed by rolling the middle mouse button back and forth. You have probably worked this out by now. Thank you for the kind words about my videos. My presentation style can be a bit drab so if on the 'Setting' cog of the video switch up the playback speed to 1.5 and I sound much better!

Working from a Windows laptop I just use the Microsoft Games capture tool - Windows logo key+G.
