I don't trade individual stocks, only Nasdaq and I can tell you that on a daily basis when there is a move to the downside, 7/10 it will retrace to around 80%

The problem isn’t the size of the bounce. It’s figuring out where each bottom is going to be.

I had this confusion also for the longest time. I learned in an uptrend, the candles will most likely be doing a retest to the 20sma to continue higher. 🤯

How would you know where the bottom is without a move near 25% retracement? In that case the stock already realizes the 90% sure move before you even know it has bottomed?!
My question exactly! You have to know where is the exact bottom in order to get that 25% retrace.
But how do you make entry and identify the bounce from that particular low?

i am using a 1 min chart because there is no 2 min chart in the platform I am using, then I changed SMA20 to SMA50 because the price respects it more than the SMA20.
What asset are you trading with 50sma on 1min TF? Are you using a second moving average?
It might be hard to know exactly where "back up" is.

afeter the fact is easy.. you dont know when drops end and the next red or green candle on what you need to enter can surpase the 25% easy making trade invalid. So ya looks easy but explain morre on when to enter what to look for would be nice
I was wondering the same thing... when do you know where the bottom is with such a small trend? I worked with trend lines and had pretty good results finding the bottom. but the market often only gives you 11-12%. As soon as you understand that the market is turning, only 5-10% of the 25% is left.. so in the 2 mn chart about 1-3pips are left.. Then to the *Swing, the example didn't fit in the second example. the market went down and not up as it should... but I still like his channel, I was able to learn a lot here!!

it will work across all the market and all the time frame (relatively) in this planet
Forex pairs moves faster than stocks, so you might change the MA period a bit, but the general technique still applies.

Nice idea, but too little info on the single most critical process, which is how to identify when price is at the bottom of a range vs being faked out. In other words, using 25% of the range requires knowing when you're at the bottom. Ahhhh...
My thought exactly...video does not address how to see this reversal.
22 minutes and you still failed to expain the stategy. Not a single word how to determine when the "strong move" is over and pullback starts. No stoploss placements, no context with those moving averages, just "space" which is "different topic". This video and your explanation is all over the place. You are good teacher and explain well but YOU NEED TO FOCUS.

Huh? Nah ema is so different than sma. On a 5min chart it’ll wick to 20ema but sma is worthless. I use tight stops so sma is junk. Can’t enter with a 2pt stop on nq with sma because it’s never respected like the ema. 20ema and 5min candle is most used in markets globally so I’ve learned around the fact that 5 lm in candle setups beat 1-2min setups. /less failures. 30min beat 5min and so on. Gap levels are most critical of all these things tho. Where sellers or buyers are stuck is where markets pivots. If fails I loose 2-5pts seeking 1-2/1-10 ratio. Break even stops as soon as I can to keep small losses from being a festering virus. Gap fills are exact tho not zones. Wick to wick entry with stop usually one tick into “body of gap candle. Wick to wick entry, tick into body is stop. That is my strategy and it’s money for anyone who reads this far. Gap strategy let me place a trade 2hrs in advance and go to work and play out like clockwork on Fri. Nq short 900 to 800. 3pt stop and took 1-2pt of heat.
