This is a tough tough match for salt papi. We wanted him to step up in competition but this is on another level. He went from fighting straight bums to fighting one of the best youtube boxers in the scene that is also naturally in a way heavier weight class
bro people dont understand, the losers who r crying that jake hasnt fought a pro boxers forget the fact that josh fought a pro in ksi logan 2, and has mma experience and is a great athlete. If salt papi wins this i think he is probably top 3 in terms of skill

Nah I think Papi might be more skilled but Bruckners size and Skills make this a really dangerous fight especially when you consider papis two wins are against nobodies and Bruckner Atleast beat that pro on KSI v Logan 2 and Chase who is trash but also massive

Amazing breakdown. one thing i will add to it is salt papi's footwork is as solid as his head movement, constantly sleeping out of a jab to make space for his counter. and i think that will be his winning trait come fight night.

I think everyone is overhyping josh , he really didn’t look as threatening vs chase as he should of (chase might be one of the worst influencer boxers)
Although Chase was terrible, he was still 30lbs+ heavier than Josh and had a 9in. reach advantage. It must've been hard for Josh to enter range and hit Josh cleanly having to maneuver around his long arms and land over his shoulders. Chase is a way tougher match than Halal Ham or Andy Warski just given his physical attributes.

You cant get away with throwing 8-10 punch combo’s against a good counter puncher, if he throws 8-10 punches he will get caught on the button because he will be far too open against a good counter puncher

This isn't the pro. This guy's name is Josh who is a decorated amateur. The pro he sparred on that day is Anees Taj. Anees is a cruiserweight the size of Brueckner with way more boxing ability. Even though Salt Papi just posted these clips I believe the footage was actually from 3 weeks ago at the beginning of his training camp.
This start stop replay just doesn’t give us any reference to the velocity and speed of things. Let it play out then run back through it.

leading with your left hand as a south paw is all about timing and setting trap. getting into the pocket as a southpaw is what you have to do... orthodox boxer don't have much exp against southpaw once you are in there your left gonna land more than your opponent's right. Salt papi is a legit boxing he knows how to eat up the space with his footwork. and do counters. papi has to spar a lot and work on his strength and conditioning.

Are We gonna see Josh spar(hopefully we get to)? Wanna see his speed n skills in boxing nowadays in training since he transitioned to boxing. He's not really quick n slick like salt papi from the vids I saw. I think he gonna have to be quicker to beat salt papi, but we will see. Might be the perfect storm.

idk just checked his last fight and his foot work is not that good he got off balance a couple of times and he seems to get flustered and weaken his guard but if there is a big size advantage and is used appropriately then it could get tough.
