The two of you did a great job in this video and proved yourselves to be worthy of your "Major Award"! (I was lucky to have been working on Public Square in downtown Cleveland when the movie was made. The city's old lamp-post decorations and Higbees Dept store were a hoot.)
Still on my bucket list to at least visit the house. That gift shop is insane looking with so much stuff!! Loved your video! Thanks for sharing your experience!
I actually went to the Christmas Story house back in September 2015. My dad got to dress in the "pink nightmare" pajamas and I took a few pics of him in 'em.
it's nice that they bought this house and it's open for tours for the movie .but the one thing that really irritates the hell out of me is at least try and make the inside look a little like the movie house ,you know a little effort .maybe they should have had the movie playing in the house when they remodeled the inside .and not take randy and Ralphie's bedroom and turn it to and apartment i mean come on. and put the bathroom in the wrong place and were the bathroom is make it a sewing room really? watch the movie when you remodel a movie house get it right
I just went there today, it was very cool, would recommend.
