wendy looked really concerned when the woman started crying. She looked like she wanted to give that women a warm hug. (i mean she's olaf tho haha)

I really hate the fact that the girl who "only eats meat" won last week and still survived this week. It's a minor concern. Now the husband who DRINKS all the time should've won. Not only that but I don't understand the mindset of the audience and even the MC's. I know that drinking is common in Korea but in excess and the fact that he has a wife and child makes it worse.
It's probably really late for me, but since I've watched the girl's concern I would share what I think.
The girl's concern is not only about "eating only meat" for her life, but also her attitude, the MC actually point this out. She acts like queen, she needs to get what she wants no matter how. She starved herself for three days because her mother didn't cook for her, she didn't even try to cook the meat herself, and I believe it costs so much. She even has anemia and problems with her colon because she doesn't eat vegetables at all. I believe if you watched the concern, you'll see the staffs try so hard to make her eat vegetables, even asking for a video call to Jo Kwon in the middle of his schedule imo, since he's in the van. The audience probably took this all into accounts and voted for her. I personally really pissed off while watching her concern.
For the drinking husband, I also think that the votes could be higher. But probably, just probably, they think it's not as problematic as the girl because there's no one who knows the drinking habit (I believe the vote could be higher if there's another witness than his wife) and he's perfect aside from his drinking habit. He said that he strained himself from drinking for two months before they appeared here, even though one day he actually back to his drinking habit just that one moment. So the audience thought "so the husband could refrain" and some of them didn't vote.
It's only my thought and it's already be late though, but I hope it can give you one or two reason about why the audience choose the girl more problematic than the husband, which probably not 100% true. Sorry for the long answer, hope you have a good day :)

i don't understand why they keep asking "why are you crying" from the wife in the first concern. everyone would cry if their loved one is getting drunk everyday and getting their lives at risk. he should be happy to have someone like her as a wife
+alder asdeap yes, that question piss me off. She is obviously a sensitive woman and is normal to cry in a situation like that. The MCs should be more empathic.

that made me mad when they did that. but sometimes I see how it helps. it stops her from crying. if they comfort her too much she might cry even more. :(

For a country that drinks so much, it's surprising there's so little awareness of alcoholism. Drinking to the point of passing out every week is not normal.

Koreans are aware of alcoholism, they just don't take it as seriously compared to other countries. Their perception of alcohol overall is quite different.

나리 number of shots per person they're number 1, but soju is weaker than a lot of spirits. For pure alcohol consumpition they're around 20th.
Alcohol is a drug, idek why they drink so much tbh, it should be limited for health reasons, not only there, but also here

Alcoholism is a very serious issue, I can't believe how blaise the hosts are being, even siding with the husband. Not to mention, the terrible example he's setting for their child. He needs to get treated for his addiction as soon as possible. His health will deteriorate very quickly if he keeps drinking like that. I feel bad for her:(

The third concern was nothing to me though. My mom got married when she was 27 and my dad was 52. They have a 25-year age gap and it didn't matter. They are still strong together although there were some arguments and mistunderstandings. Until now, they continue loving and supporting each other and us, their kids. Humans should learn to reflect and not to judge. Age is nothing but a number.

I feel like it would matter when it is like a minor and a much older person. In extreme cases a child and an adult. But the issue of both people being adults and choosing to marry each other, that is their choice, and shouldn't be considered a problem.

1st concern: The husband is too carefree but I think he'll stop drinking so recklessly after this...that is if he cares for his wife and doesn't' want her to worry so much.
2nd concern: Its been awhile since I laughed so much.
3rd concern: people be so nosy these days. Its their life they happy so why you so concerned? its none of your business!! They do look really happy together and I am feeling proud of the girl that she went and pursued her love regardless of what others said. Its not a surprise that the mother is against it but its good that shes changing her thoughts about him.

I grew up with an alcoholic father and I tell you, all them who was in the drinking table with him thought he is a experienced hard drinker that his stomach can hold it in. The moment he went home all the puke,pee and nakedness my mom has to take care of was so different to the friendly man moments ago. It’s like having a fourth child for her.Alcoholism is a prelude to all abuses that came after.

I can relate to the first concern. I have an uncle who always drinks and now his legs always hurts and sometimes he can't walk. He became very dark and very stiff. Then last month, my uncle got hospitalized but he was discharged after 2-3 weeks tho. Everyone shouldn't drink alcohol everyday. It really can damage our health. Stay healthy everyone!

I'm sorry but I don't understand why most Koreans take drinking lightly... It can cause liver failure and many other medical issues... This is not the first concern on this show and it is actually the most common one... The drinking life in Korea is serious... The company dinners are a huge problem because they encourage you to drink... They need to start taking it serious... They say it isn't a problem when he drinks at home but he is still putting filth in his system because he drinks to the point where he cannot even remember getting hurt and to the point where he wakes up hugging a toilet...
Sadly, it's due to the culture. It's similar in Europe, where I live in a country that smokes. Middle-schoolers, high-schoolers, teachers, doctors, etc. It's not even a big deal! You see kids rolling their own cigarettes, and it's completely normal. I was so shocked when I first saw it, because I'm not used to it. So in South Korea, the drinking culture is normal. It's so sad that people don't differentiate the difference between social drinking OCCASIONALLY and being an ALCOHOLIC. I hope in the future, Korean people can see how bad drinking is. It's a DRUG for god's sake...

The 3rd concern is really touching tbh. While I can't imagine myself getting together with someone that much older than myself, I do feel like their feelings for each other are genuine. And I'm pretty much happy for the guy who has been able to find love after 40+ years of single-hood. this show is routinely avoiding calling diseases by their names. the closest it got was when they said a girl with obvious extremely severe bulimia "could develop anorexia if she keeps doing it". it's especially frustrating that the guests usually are more thoughtful than the hosts even tho they're just stars who don't need to know anything about psychology let alone specific disorders. the hosts are pretty much useless if they can't even recognize the most common mental illnesses. the only cases they're good at solving is minor family drama not stemming from anything serious besides massive miscommunication or lack thereof.

it sure isn't often i find all 3 concerns interesting to watch even, but this was a great episode for me. the first concern. some people just don't know how to treasure that special someone who is just happy with your presence. no one should change unless its a good change. the 2nd concern, that one was just hilarious, the owner is a good man. the 3rd concern, when i was younger i would think age gaps were a problem but as you get older. you just meet people of all ages and things just happen. i like how she protects and shows care for her partner.
