I've been wearing wool socks for a couple years now, they're almost essential in western New York. I'm one of the few that prefer socks as a gift haha

Good video - make it more comprehensive. Redhead socks have a lifetime warranty and are reasonably priced. Discuss blends, liners, wool types, usage and care, etc. Maybe set it up to get an evaluation pair or two from manufacturers when you have an expanded outline and storyboard. Nice thing about lifetime warranty and return/exchange is maybe they can re-use the wool for scarves, mittens, blankets etc. You could discuss the supply and waste stream for wool including process and locations of manufacturers and suppliers. Take care, stay warm ...

I have been wearing FITS socks completely but I've been wanting to try out Icebreaker's socks. I recently just purchased a pair from point6 and am anxious to try them out hiking.

do you need to layer with this, or would one pair be enough for snowy winter?

I have wool socks from super thin for summer, to super thick for winter. I never double up when I wear my super thick ones. If you do want to layer, try a thin silk sock liner. They are small, and add like 10 degrees of warmth without any bulk. Also, check out IceBreaker. They are a merino wool brand and they make awesome socks! I still use the socks in this video and love them, but, I also have many IceBreaker now too.

Do you wear those to work or are they for hiking/running?

I only wear wool socks. I wear them daily for any activity I am doing. I have thin socks for summer, up to very thick socks for winter. Best socks I've ever worn. I'd recommend checking out IceBreaker. I really like the IceBreaker socks. I like the socks in this video as well, but, I mostly wear my IceBreaker socks now.

Earthling1984 I'm kind of the same way, I very rarely wear cotton socks. I wear either synthetic or wool socks. Works great at helping to keep athletes foot and other nasty things away.

Yes, I usually do. I have a nice washing machine that does a very gentle hand wash setting as well that I sometimes use.
