I am over 50 so I’ll scribe. Been playing bass on and off all my life. My favorite gig I ever did was a Tool tribute band in my late 30s early 40s. Your never too old and never compare yourself to other bassist. Great vid with great advice! Thank you Michael!

Great interview. I didn't know Michael was retired either. Ive seen him so many times at Maiden shows with Steve's bass setting up the bass before the concert begins. Awesome to hear him tell his story and career. Great guy. Thanks for sharing this interview and thank you Michael for all you provided for Steve and Maiden. Stay well.🙂

Great interview! Glad Michael is doing well. He’s earned his retirement. As far as the Tech 21 Steve Harris pedal-best pedal in my arsenal. I can’t live without it now, we’ll worth the money-by far!🎧

That was an awesome interview! I've been an Iron Maiden fan since the early 80s and have seen them in concert. I'm glad to finally know who the "unnamed synth dude" was in the band. I was glad to hear synths in their music because it added a phenomenal dynamic to the music. Thank you Michael for all the work you've done over the years keeping Steve Harris' bass running!

Colin Price might be your best bet as he's Dave's tech. Having said that that guitar dates as far back as when Bill Barclay was his tech.
