But I don't know if I should get one. I like to journal with fountain pens and this paper is just not very good for that. So many reviews miss this piece of info, because bujo community is more into fineliners and there's not many people testing fountain pens in A&O notebooks. It's funny how it's marketed for fountain pens (among other media), but there's way more to desire in fountain pen paper than just no ghosting.
Oh you’re so right! “Fountain pen friendly” definitely means SO much more than no ghosting. I’m enjoying this notebook for the novelty of it but it won’t be a repeat buy. There are just so many other papers that enhance fountain pen ink!

Hi Sarah! Would this glue work to glue a patch on to leather? I’m binge watching your videos to gain strength to add a patch and make a hole in a leather folio I’m not using.
Hmmm, I’ve never tried it on leather so I’m nervous to give an answer. It should stick just fine but I don’t know if it’s flexible once dry like Barge leather cement.

Thank you so much for sharing these notebooks! They’re beautiful- I’d order one right away, but like you, I feel like I would go through it way too quickly to justify the price. I’m also hoping that this becomes a trend and that other companies come out with this size too. I’m also one of those people who loves the feel of well-used/loved paper, so I’d be over the moon for one of these from LT1917 😄
I’m halfway through at this point and already know I won’t be purchasing again. I’m really enjoying it but it’s definitely not the best for my fountain pens. Fingers crossed there are more options for us coming soon!

Just fyi I know of another RUclipsr Sunshine sticker co who has a shop and she sells a 192 dot grid notebook that TN sized. Not sure of the gsm off the top of my head but it’s about half the price of the A&O... 😊
I was following that release at Sunshine Sticker Co! Alas, it’s actually Hobonichi Weeks size. If she had released a Standard TN size, I’d be all over it!😄
The paper is too thick for me, and the price point makes it easier for me to pass up--but they are so pretty. This would be great for someone creating a keepsake of some kind (art or bible journaling).
I totally see your points! It would be worth it to me if I could use it for a 6 month project or something similar. But as an everyday journal (which is what I use Standard size for) it’s very cost prohibitive!

I hear you! I’m not naturally artistic. But my favorite thing to do is just write. So I always dive into a book by writing the most mundane things about my day or the random thought that’s in my head at the time. Lately, I’ve been throwing down 2 strips of washi tape and calling it decorated😂.
😁 Yeh I should have just started with the washi but I've now got a collection with so many art supplies n stickers etc. I even bought modgepodge!! and decorated some old books with beatiful cloth covers (infact i covered 8 volumes) But i now know i haveca problem when i bought an easel n canvas on sale😂😂😂
Ps should say thank you for the innovative way to cover n decorate covers with repurposed old material. You are very creative and I love how you experiment n make your own leathers. I love your videos. 💙
If they would just do their notebooks in an A5 slim size, that would really be notebook heaven for me... Its just the perfect size, and the only company that makes them is Moleskine (and is available for me) and that paper makes me crazy :(
